Mother is always the greatest person in the family, because she takes care of everything, she does all the housework, though she is a housewife, what she is so heavy and great. I nearly help my mother to do the housework, when I go home after school, I always go out to play with my friend and then until the dinner, I will come back. Now as I grow up, I start to realize that I need to help my mother, I should share some housework, so that I can reduce her burden. Since I help my mother with the housework, she looks so happy, she will praise me in front of her friends. I feel proud of myself.

nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

然而事情又不是这么一沉不变又单纯简单的，现如今人们都意识到应试教育的弊端，逐渐开始探索并实践素质教育。传统的授课教育，老师在上面讲，同学在下面听，就要求我们上课思想不能开小差，完全要一心一意得听老师讲。尽管这样的授课教育高效直接，可也在一定程度上剥夺了我们思维自由探索的潜力。因此自习课的设定就非常有必要，自习课是授课教育的补充，也是素质教育的前期探索实践。
作为一名中学生，我已经具备了一定的科学文化知识，就必须懂得适应整体教育发展趋势，在体恤学校领导老师的辛勤教育工作基础上，力所能及得配合学校各项教学工作活动。作为一名学生，我的能力有限，唯一能够做的就是好好学习，在这样一个方面，也就是好好得利用好自习课。关于自习课要做什么，我也有自己的一些觉悟：
首先，自习课最应该做的就是做作业。一天上课下来，老师教授了我们很多知识，这些知识初来熏陶，我们的大脑并不会马上消化，这就需要我们通过自习课做作业的形式来巩固课业知识。都说考场如战场，一个能上战场冲锋***敌的合格士兵，倘若没有平时的刻苦训练，是无法保证有效歼敌并且存活下来的。同样的，我们作为学生，面对今后中考、高考的严峻挑战，倘若没有在自习课当中做题解题的刻苦训练，也是不行的。
其次，自习课要进行课业反思与知识拓展。在学校里我们大多情况下都是单纯接触理论知识，通常于实际实践有些隔阂。这就需要我们进行课业反思与知识拓展，老师上课时间就那么宝贵的几十分钟，通常只会讲理论知识。因此我们需要在自习课自己发挥想象力，去分析这些理论知识的'实际运用意义，这对于我们今后步入社会，将理论知识运用于实践工作大有益处。充分利用自习课进行课业反思与知识拓展，也在相当程度上让我们避免陷入“纸上谈兵，坐而论道”的庸俗空泛境遇。
再有，自习课培养自律能力，也可以进行必要的休息。与讲授课堂一样，自习课同样是一门课堂，就需要我们切实得遵守课堂纪律。但是自习课又与讲授课堂存在一定区别，就是通常不会有老师老监督你，需要大家自律自觉。因此自习课也是在培养大家的自律能力，一个人没有自律能力是可悲又可怕的，这样的严重后果自然不必多说什么了。但是在这里我任然想表达一下自己的观点，我认为自习课在遵守纪律的前提下，是允许同学们做适当休息的，比如实在疲惫困倦了眯眼小睡一会儿，又比如伸张一下腰背倒杯茶休息一下，都是允许的。以至于有些同学在完成课业的情况下，就是在自习课发呆看一些课外书，来充分使大脑休息放松一下，也是未尝不可的。
自习课，一个让同学们适当放松约束的课堂，但他并不是让同学们随意放纵的时光。学生时代看似漫长，可是仔细一想那又是多么宝贵而短暂。或许多年以后，我们回首读书时光，记忆里快乐最多的时候正是自习课时。同学们，倘若你此刻珍惜好这样的自习课，以后的咱们也不会留下遗憾。
