1月16日下午，我们班迎来了生活技能比赛。这次竞赛的内容是：整理抽屉和洗红领巾。
整理抽屉开始了，我们班的准备工作做得很充分，同学们在比赛之前就练习了好几遍，所以在比赛时只用了2分钟不到的时间就做好课前准备，理好抽屉，坐端正等老师考查了。老师表扬了全班同学，说大家都做得很棒！
让我印象深刻的是洗红领巾比赛：同学们有的捧着着小脸盆，有的带着肥皂，当然少不了系在我们脖子上的红领巾。大家都聚到有水龙头的美术教室里，等着老师说开始！
老师一声令下，7位同学们立即来到水槽前开始打水。当我正把红领巾放入水中时，余光看到旁边的`同学已经在擦肥皂了，心里一阵紧张，怕落后了。想起昨天妈妈教我的步骤，擦好肥皂，用力揉搓三十下，然后放进小盆里搓洗十下，拧干后，我凑近鼻子闻一闻，好像还有一股肥皂的味道，于是我又赶紧把红领巾放入水中，认真的搓洗起来。这次拧干后只有淡淡的香味了！虽然水很冷，但同学们却洗得热火朝天。评委老师检查之后说我们洗得很仔细，同学都笑开了花。
红领巾是我们少先队员的象征，我们要爱护好它，保持它的干净整洁。
经过这次生活技能比赛，我知道平时要整理好自己的抽屉，也懂得了妈妈的辛苦。希望自己以后把抽屉理得整齐有序，平时戴红领巾讲究卫生，让妈妈的手在冬天里也温暖着。

今天，是一年一度的劳动技能比赛，我们要进行钉纽扣比赛。整个四年级都要带齐工具，就排队去了电教室。电教室真是人山人海，座位上都坐满了人，人都齐了，主持人就开始抽学号上去比赛，每个班抽了五个人。他们上去比赛了，其余的同学就在下面比赛。
小主持人说开始了，大家都拿起了针线，串起纽扣了。老师说了，在下面的同学只要缝得好和快，就能在班级里获得前五名。许多人都缝完了，我缝得也挺好的，就获得了前四名。心里面很开心。坐在我后面的一位男同学，我都缝完纽扣了，他才缝完线，老师看见了，就笑了起来，我也笑了。
上面的比赛完了，主持人要公布比赛的成绩了。当主持人点到别的班获奖是，我们班的同学都鼓起掌来，其他班的同学目光就落到了我们班的同学身上了。许多人都情不自禁的笑了一下。主持人点到我们班时，我们班的同学都叫了一声“哇”，我的心里也乐开了花。其他班的颁奖完了，还剩下我们班的胡飞宇同学，最后当主持人为胡飞宇颁奖时，她居然获得了一等奖，全班的人都“哇塞”的大叫了一声，许多在场的人都笑了起来，包括温校长也偷偷的笑了，我也笑了。回到班里，老师说我们表现得还可以，还为那前五名的同学奖了一个本子，表扬了我们全班人缝纽扣缝得很不错呢！
这次的劳动技能比赛过得真是太开心了！

3月5日中午，由于孩子在家玩火，造成一场大火灾，当时我们尚未下班。贵校学生周xx发现火情之后，不顾自己身体有病，备不顾身冲进火海。由于火势很猛，屋里烟浓，周xx冲进屋后，房门马上被紧紧地吸住，外面的人进不去，大家都为周xx捏着一把汗。周xx在呼吸困难的情况下，临危不惧，急中生智，打破窗户玻璃，屋里压力减轻，门可以打开了。救火中，周xx发现立柜还有一盒五四式手枪子弹，在十分危险的情况下，毫不犹豫地捧起弹盒扔到窗外，避免了一场严重事故的发生。在周xx的带领下，大火终于扑灭，周xx同学却被烧焦了头发，烫伤了双手，该同学的英勇表现使所有在场的人赞不绝口。
正值全国开展学雷锋运动之时，贵校学生周xx不顾个人安危，临危不惧，挺身而出，抢救他人家庭财产。这一高尚行为为我们树立了良好的榜样。我们除向周xx同学学习外，特写信向贵校建议，请贵枝领导把周xx的英雄事迹广为宣传，予以表彰。使广大学生以周xx同学为榜样，将学雷锋运动推向高潮。

The person I admire is my mum. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Students all enjoy her class.
My mum is not only a good teacher, but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. My mum teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies, it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. When I’m feeling sad or bad, it is also my mum who looks after me with care.
I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year, my mum took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection, it was about 5 o’clock in the early morning. My mum only slept 2 hours because she had to wake up at 7 o’clock to prepare breakfast for me, and then she went to work. She must be very tired that day.
My mum is not very beautiful, but I admire and love her.
