Dear Mum and Dad,
Im writing to you in Beijing.
Im very happy to visit Beijing again. To my surprise, great changes have taken place here recently.
Today I went to Wangfujing Street. Now the streets are cleaner and nicer than before. There are many flowers everywhere and there is a fine smell of the flowers in the air. There are more new buildings, modern shops and large markets in it. People in Beijing are happy. Everyone has a smile on the face.
I know they are working hard for the 2008 Olympics. I hope they will have a good luck.

每个人的童年都有不一样的趣事，但不同的趣事，回味起来却有一样幸福的滋味，我从妈妈的口中知道，我的妈妈在以前也是个野丫头，会捉鱼，会偷果，会爬树，她也都样样在行，而且还是那一群野孩子的首领呢！
在妈妈的童年，还闹了一个大笑话：大年三十，张灯结彩，都穿上了新衣服，红红火火的，还一起包饺子，汤圆，为爷爷、奶奶，外公、外婆贺寿。吃饭时，不但会有鱼有虾，而且还会发压岁钱。妈妈的外公总会给他们2元~5元的压岁钱，他们总会像变戏法一样地把它花掉。可这回，我的妈妈不想这么快的花掉，只好想办法，她左思右想，都想不出来，她忽然想到一句成语：种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆。想到这里，妈妈高兴得直拍手，还说了一句：“我真够聪明的，这么简单，我刚才咋没想出呢！这真是“种钱得钱”，还可以长成摇钱树，那我就有好多好多的钱了。”说干就干，她就拽着钱，飞快奔下去。在田里挖了一个小坑，，小心翼翼的放下去，她还抓了几条蚯蚓来，放在里面，并为它松松土。有人走过来，她还用手遮住，像藏宝贝一样。
第二天，我妈妈早早起来了，想为“钱”种子去浇水，来到田间，却找不到藏钱的地方，就“哇哇”的哭起来，边哭边用手敲地说：“早知如此，何必当初，如果，我买东西，还有几粒糖，现在倒好一分钱都没有了！”外公，也被吵醒了，听了妈妈的诉说，外公也笑了，不过看到她那么的伤心，就骗她说：“土地爷爷缺钱，所以拿走了。”听说钱没丢，她马上不哭了，还指着地说：“土地爷爷，要记得还我。”外公又笑了。
啊！多有趣的童年，多么让人流恋！

妈妈说，她小时候没有我们现在这么多的玩具，却也玩得很开心，女孩子一根皮筋，跟小伙伴一起可以玩上半天。跳房子、编花篮、玩弹珠、翻绳、玩泥巴、爬树，什么都玩。
春天，妈妈会跟小伙伴们去拔猪草，提上外公编的竹篮，拔了满满一篮之后，就开始玩了。折一根柳枝，摘上一些漂亮的'野花做成一个漂亮的花环，戴在头，觉得自己就像个小公主。那时候的大人都是忙田里的活儿，妈妈经常和小伙伴们到山上摘花，摘野果。
夏天，跟小伙伴们到小溪里摸螺蛳、抓小鱼、抓螃蟹，到池塘里摘莲蓬。常常把那些较大点的鱼和螃蟹油炸了吃。把小的鱼和螃蟹用罐头瓶养起来。在瓶子里放入一些好看的鹅卵石和金鱼藻，这就成了妈妈的宠物了。
秋天，田野里的稻子都熟了，放眼望去，一大片，一大片，黄澄澄的美极了。那时候的孩子都去劳动，割稻子，捡稻穗。桔子也成熟了，妈好用桔子做过小桔灯，把桔子皮撕成小块，用线穿起来做成手环。捡到一些好看的树叶，妈妈会把叶子夹在书本里，做成标本。
冬天，下雪是最好玩的，妈妈会约上小伙伴，打雪仗、堆雪人、滚雪球，到屋檐下摘冰棱，比一比谁的冰棱长，谁的冰棱大。最刺激的就是到结了厚厚冰层的田里去滑冰，孩子们滑着，摔着，笑着，叫着，田野里充满了孩子们的欢声笑语。
原来，妈妈的童年这么多姿多彩呀！
