首先，办公用的资料不会占地方，没有的再百度，怕忘记再保存在电脑里，实在不行添一个备份；如若客户在较远的地方，还可以视频，不必担忧；想要的东西还可以网购，不怕再怕没有，不必再有担忧。
对于我们这些学生，网络可以辅助：资料、问题都可百度。偶尔关注微博、QQ，空暇时还可娱乐、休闲。
但是网络不是只有“利”，他也有一些弊端。
不少人沉迷网络：公交车上总有几个人低着头在摆弄手机，成了所谓的“低头族”；网吧中不少青年通宵打电玩，导致猝死；学生们过度沉迷网络，而误入歧途；由于网络的诱惑，大部分人导致近视。
虽说学生有着家长在限制，网吧也有国家施行的限制（未成年人），但是这种情况并未有多大缓解，不让我们接触网络也无法实行。现在，网络几乎不能与我们分离……

在利方面，一：可以开阔视野。也可以充实大脑。二：可以对外交流，学生的一个被人经常被人提及的缺点就是缺乏自信心，通过上网可以克服障碍。三：可以促进青少年个性发展。可以减少功课压力。和网友谈谈自己的心事。四：可以锻炼文笔，就会很有成就感。五：可以掌握新教育的动态，网上试卷应有尽有，学生就可以任意选择。老师也可以了解新的教学方法。
在弊方面理由有三，一：网络只是一个虚拟世界，网络存在许多陷阱。比如一些不健康网站，中学生的把持不是很好，只会危害自己。二：网络充满攻击性，漫骂，说谎。我们可以随心所欲说自己的话，毫不负责任!根本不考虑别人的感受，这是不道德的。三：根据法律规定，未满18岁少年不可进入网吧!
每一个新事物的出现总会伴随种种担心，从20年代的电影到后来的流行音乐电子游戏。担心的焦点不外乎暴力，色情，颓废等。好处与坏处只是一线之隔。往往“失之毫厘，差之千里。”上网亦是如此。跨越了利的界限便是弊。
作为学生，我是赞成自己上网的。我们不仅需要缓解学习压力，更需要源源不断的补充粮食。不可否认，我们当中大多数人上网是为了更好的学习。从这个意义上讲，网络是利大于弊的。
