1。 叙述的人称

英语的记叙文一般是以第一或第三人称的角度来叙述的。用第一称表示的是由叙述者亲眼所见、亲耳所闻的经历。它的优点在于能把故事的情节通过“我”来传达给读者,使人到真实可信,如身临其境。如:

The other day, I was driving along the street。 Suddenly, a car lost its control and ran directly towards me fast。 I was so frightened that I quickly turned to the left side。 But it was too late。 The car hit my bike and I fell off it。

用第三人称叙述,优点在于叙述者不受“我”活动范围以内的人和事物的限制,而是通过作者与读者之外的第三者,直接把故事中的情节展现在读者面前,文章的客观性很强。如:

Little Tom was going to school with an umbrella, for it was raining hard。 On the way, he saw an old woman walking in the rain with nothing to cover。 Tom went up to the old woman and wanted to share the umbrella with her, but he was too short。 What could he do? Then he had a good idea。

2。 动词的时态

在记叙文中,记和叙都离不开动词。所以动词出现率最高,且富于变化。记叙文中用得最多的是动词的过去的',这是英语记叙文区别于汉语记叙文的关键之处。英语写作的优美之处就在于这些动词时态的变化,正是这一点才使得所记、所叙有鲜活的动态感、鲜明的层次感和立体感。

3。 叙述的顺序

记叙一件事要有一定的顺序。无论是顺叙、倒叙、插叙还是补叙,都要让读者能弄清事情的来龙去脉。顺叙最容易操作,较容易给读者提供有关事情的空间和时间线索。但这种方法也容易使文章显得平铺直叙,读起来平淡乏味。倒叙、插叙、补叙等叙述方法能有效地提高文章的结构效果,让所叙之事跌宕起伏,使读者在阅读时思维产生较大的跳跃,从而为文章所吸引,深入其中。但这些方法如果使用不当,则容易弄巧成拙,使文章结构散乱,头绪不清,让读者不知所云。

4。 叙述的过渡

过渡在上下文中起着承上启下、融会贯通的作用。过渡往往用在地点转移或时间、事件转换以及由概括说明到具体叙述时。如:

In my summer holidays, I did a lot of things。 Apart form doing my homework, reading an English novel, watching TV and doing some housework, I went on a trip to Qingdao。 It is really a beautiful city。 There are many places of interest to see。 But what impressed me most was the sunrise。

The next morning I got up early。 I was very happy because it was a fine day。 By the time I got to the beach, the clouds on the horizon were turning red。 In a little while, a small part of the sun was gradually appearing。 The sun was very red, not shining。 It rose slowly。 At last it broke through the red clouds and jumped above the sea, just like a deep-red ball。 At the same time the clouds and the sea water became red and bright。

What a moving and unforgettable scene!

5。 叙述与对话

引用故事情节中主要人物的对话是记叙文提高表现力的一种好方法。适当地用直接引语代替间接的主观叙述,可以客观生动地反映人物的性格、品质和心理状态,使记叙生动、有趣,使文章内容更加充实、具体。试比较下面两段的叙述效果:

I was in the kitchen, and I was cooking something。 Suddenly I heard a loud noise from the front。 I thought maybe someone was knocking the door。 I asked who it was but I heard no reply。 After a while I saw my cat running across the parlor。 I realized it was the cat。 I felt released。

这本来应是一段故事性很强的文字,但经作者这么一写,就不那么吸引人了。原因是文中用的都是叙述模式,没有人物语言,把“悬念”给冲淡了。可作如下调整:

I was in the kitchen cooking something。 "Crash!" a loud noise came from the front。 Thinking someone was knocking at the door, I asked, "Who?" No reply。 After a while, I saw my cat running across the parlor。 "It's you。" I said, quite released。

大佛风景区被绿色环抱着,蝉趴着枝头上、树干上,知知不休,好似在迎接着前来游乐山的游客们。蝉叫霎时间变得清脆悦耳,消去夏日里的烦躁心情。

我们开车抵达了游客接待中心,沿着滨江路前行,不一会便来到了北门。但因北门上山的路被阻断了,还得绕行东门。反正都是游玩,多走一会不算什么。于是,我们有辗转来到东门。

到达东门,一切豁然开朗,明亮而清晰,将近两米宽的石梯,人来人往,有的人在拍照,有的人在休息,或许是刚下来的吧。不过,我没做停留,向着大佛,直奔而去。

不一会儿,我们便登上了山顶。因为急切想看到大佛,所以,我一点儿也不觉得累,但姐姐却累得气喘吁吁。不是登上山顶就能见到大佛,还得穿过凌云寺才行。凌云寺也是一个不错的景点。妈妈他们也都走累了,正好在这里休息一下。凌云寺的门檐,都是用浮雕的手法,把一个个生动的佛家故事,精妙地雕琢在上面,真是美轮美奂啊!不仅门檐上有故事,而且寺庙的墙壁上也有。每个故事都引人入胜,我看得津津有味。

参观完凌云寺,我们便来到了此行的目的地——大佛景点。刚从凌云寺出来,到达栈道入口,只能看在大佛的头部。他的耳朵很大,耳洞能容下我,耳垂有我两张手臂那么长。他面带慈祥,嘴角泛起一丝笑意。虽然年事已高,但仍能显示出不凡气质。

从上往下看,还看不见大佛全身,得顺栈道而下。栈道里挤满了人,要想抵达山脚,要花一个多小时呢!不过,好奇心驱使着我,不得不去看。我们顺着栈道而下,每挪动一步都很艰难。

到达半山腰时,大佛的半身就已经可以看见。他衣领的褶皱,经过风雨的洗礼,依然清晰可见。他的双手平放在双膝上,身体端坐,显示出大气凌人。

但此时仍不能看见大佛的脚掌,还得向下走。越向下,路也越险。栈道越来越窄,石梯的幅度也越来越大,我们必须扶在栏杆上。前面有位阿姨甚至不敢前行了。还好她的丈夫把她抱到了山脚。

一番惊心动魄后,我们还是顺利到了山脚。从下向上俯视,大佛的全貌尽入眼中。他的大脚,足足有5个人那么宽,真是无与伦比。真不敢相信,在那个没有吊车,没有脚手架,没有电钻的情况下,是怎样完成这浩大的工程的,我不由得对当时的建筑工人肃然起敬。于是,我拿起手机,拍下了这举世无双的大脚和这“建筑的奇迹”。

时间流逝的很快,在大渡河、青衣江、岷江翻腾的水花中,我们依依不舍地结束了这次乐山之行。

弹指之间沧桑巨变,风生水转惊涛震撼。中国,有着许多数不清的名胜古迹,圆明园、故宫……然而,留给我印象最深的,就要数乐山大佛了,因为当我站在佛前,突然觉得我好渺小。

乐山大佛是四川乐山市南岷江东岸凌云寺侧,频大渡河、青衣江、岷江三江汇流处。大佛为弥勒佛坐像,通高71米,是我国现存最大的一尊摩崖石刻造像。大佛开凿于唐代开元元年713年,完成于贞元年803年,历时约九十年。大佛两侧断崖和登山道上,有许多石龛造像,多是盛唐作品。

我看着这尊佛像,眼前浮现了当时人们造佛场景。有许多能工巧匠聚在一起雕琢大佛,老百姓也来帮忙。有的烧茶,有的送饭,凌云岩上人来人往,锤声如雷,岩片似雨。人们一只手拿着雕琢的刀,一点一点的雕刻、雕琢着。住在岩下深潭里的水怪,每天被岩石上的石块打得胆战心惊,眼看巢穴快要被填平了,它涌起千丈巨浪,想把工人们从岩上卷到水里淹死。石工们眼看怪物涌起水来,就纷纷捡起岩上的石块向它打去。岩石像冰雹一样,不一会儿,就把水怪埋葬在乱石堆里。从此大佛岩下,风平浪静,而大佛的样子也一天天显露出来。人们每日每夜,时时刻刻都在建佛,有时被太阳晒得汗流浃背,有时累得气喘吁吁。就这样一代接着一代,经过了九十年,大佛终于建成了。

传说唐朝初年凌云山下,岷江、青衣江、大渡河三江汇流处,水深流急,经常吞没行船危害百姓。凌云寺中的海通和尚见三江水势如此猖獗,水中必有水怪,在岩石上刻佛像借菩萨法力,定能降服水怪。于是他请了两个有名的石匠来商量了刻佛像的事,然后去化缘了。谁知化缘回来,爱财如命的官吏恐吓老和尚,要是不交钱,就挖去他的双眼,老和尚自己挖去了双眼保护修大佛的钱。官吏因吓住而往后退,结果身后是悬崖,就摔死了。那眼睛又飞回了老和尚的眼眶,从此谁也不敢敲诈老和尚的钱。经过九十年,大佛终于完成了。

我呆呆的站在原地,看着这尊大佛像,心情汹涌激荡,这么大的佛像,古人可以在九十年里完成,这是多么不容易啊。能修出这么大的佛,一定是古人凝聚了聪明和血汗辛勤的。此时此刻,我骄傲我是炎黄子孙。

俱往矣,凌云险阻乱云飞渡,挡不住横空出世的乐山大佛,若雪山上的雄鹰振貉着钢铁的羽翼,扞卫者中华“三江汇流”的安宁和祖国神圣的尊严。

这个寒假,太好玩了,我连去了个世界遗产:乐山大佛。你一定很好奇吧!走,跟我一看看去吧!

我们走进了乐山大佛大门,首先看见了一条龙的身子,然后往上一看,哇!一只张牙舞爪的一条龙正吐着水呢,旁边还有只大老虎正准备下山了,本想拍张照片的,结果谁知道,导游却说这只龙是“困山龙”这只虎是正在躲避猎人的追***的“逃亡虎”唉,我们只好失望的走开了。接着,我们来到了有着几十阶石梯的庙子里导游说若是要照相最好站在五梯、七梯、九梯、十三梯,因为五代表五福临门,七代表七星高照,九代表天长地久,十三代表步步高升,贪心的我每梯都照过相,嘿嘿。走出了寺庙我就看到了乐山大佛的头发。再走近一看,哇!好高呀,好大的乐山大佛呀!听导游说:“乐山大佛有七十一米高足有二十四层楼高呢!头高14.7米,头宽10米,发髻1021个,耳长7米,鼻长5.6米,眉长5.6米,嘴巴和眼长3.3米,颈高3米,肩宽24米,手指长8.3米,从膝盖到脚背28米,脚背宽8.5米,脚面可围坐百人以上。

在大佛左右两侧沿江崖壁上,还有两尊身高10余米,手持戈戟、身着战袍的护法武士石刻,数百龛上千尊石刻造像,形成了庞大的佛教石刻艺术群。大佛左侧,沿“洞天”下去就是凌云浅道的始端,全长近500米。右侧是九曲浅道。佛像雕刻成之后,曾建有十三层楼阁覆盖,时称“大佛阁”,“大佛阁”,宋时称“天宁阁”。可惜毁于明末的战乱,被张献忠的起义军焚毁。可以从大佛两侧的山崖上看到几十处孔穴,那是当年建造楼阁时,安置梁柱的地方。而今日,梁柱早已被拆除,而雄壮的大佛仍巍然屹立着。”还真是可惜没有天宁阁呀!你可能会问为什么可惜,因为大佛若没有天宁阁就会没有挡雨的下了雨就会长蘑菇呀,长草呀那该多难看呀!但是我最要担心的是那些意图不好的坏人,在大佛上雕刻一些难看的画,那我们的大佛不就受伤了吗?

所以各位读者们,不要在那些世界遗产上雕刻一些难看的画哟!但总的来说,这次旅行真快乐!

1。 头绪分明,脉络清楚

写好记叙文,首先要头绪分明,脉络清楚,明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析,弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程,然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”,但动笔之前,围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。

2。 突出中心,详略得当

在文章的框架确定后,对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍,应该从表现文章主题的需要出发,分清主次,定好详略。要突出重点,详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节,略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化,使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题,也需要一定的技巧。如:

One night a man came to our house and told me, "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。

When I finally came to that family, I saw the faces of those little children disfigured (破坏外貌) by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces, just the deep pain of hunger。

I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two, and went out, carrying half the rice。 When she came back, I asked her, "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer, "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"

3。 用活语言,准确生动

记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动,又要表现力强,这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动,其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。

原文:

One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then, two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money, but they didn't take it。 She served them with tea but they left。

修改后:

The other day, five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time, he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home, he started and crying。 Just then, two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。

"Little boy, why are you standing here crying?" they asked。

"I want Mom, I go home。" said the boy, still crying。

"Don't worry, we'll send you home。"

And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy's house。 With the help of a policeman, they finally found it。

When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound, she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully, she offered them some money, saying it was a way to express her thanks, but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。
