斑鸠和猫头鹰的作文【一】
大森林隐蔽的角落，流过一条澎湃的大河。河岸上藏着一条鳄鱼。知道这里有鳄鱼的人尽力避免遭受危险。那些不知道的人却常常落在可怕怪物的大嘴里。
一天，***害了一个在椰子树下睡觉的人以后，鳄鱼流了许多眼泪。
“瞧瞧鳄鱼!”一只埃及檬对它的小儿子说，“伪君子，现在掉眼泪，过一会儿就死人!”
“噢!”小獴惊奇地瞪大了眼睛。
事实上，鳄鱼很快又摆出了人肉宴席。
鳄鱼吃饱了，感到满足和幸福，躺在河岸上打瞌睡。它张开大嘴，允许它的朋友，叫做特勒吉罗的小鸟落在嘴里，清除牙缝里的残羹剩饭。
鳄鱼睡着觉，张开巨大的颌骨，让小鸟安安静静地剃牙缝。
埃及獴在埋伏的地点，对它的孩子说：
“注意看，我的孩子。怎样消灭这些无情无义的野兽!”
獴立即向鳄鱼嘴冲去，并且对准了喉咙。獴从喉咙里冲进胃，用尖利的牙齿到处咬，最后，又进入肠道，再大咬一阵。
鳄鱼一下子被惊醒，可怕的巨痛使它在地上打滚。鳄鱼恐怖地嗥叫，感觉到在揪它的五脏六腑。鳄鱼肚皮朝天，鼻孔里呼出了最后一口气，终于被埃及獴咬碎了。
决不能怜悯不该怜悯的家伙!算计别人也终将被别人算计!

THE OWL AND THE BIRDS
The owl is a very wise bird；and once，long ago，when the first oak sprouted in the forest，she called all the other Birds together and said to them，“You see this tiny flee?If you take my advice，you will destroy it now when it is small：for when it grows big，the mistletoe will appear upon it，from which birdlime will be prepared for your destruction.”Again，when the first flax was sown，she said to them，“Go and eat up that seed，for it is the seed ofthe flax，out ofwhich men will one day make nets to catch you.”Once more，when she saw the first archer,she warned the Birds that he was their deadly enem—who would wing his arrows with their own feamers and shoot them.But they took no notice of what she said：in fact，they thought she was rather mad，and laughed at heE When.however.evewthing turned Out as she had foretold.they changed their minds and conceived a great respect fOr her wisdom.Hence，whenever she appears，the Birds attend upon her in me hope of hearing something that may be fbr their good.She.howeveg gives them advice no longer.but sits moping and pondering on the folly ofher kind.

一只杜鹃在树枝上发出阵阵哀啼，一只可爱的斑鸠听到了，便向它询问，希望能帮助它排忧解难。
斑鸠站在枝头与它絮语：“杜鹃，你的鸣叫为什么这样哀怨啊？是不是因为春天即将离开，冬天逼近，爱情也将逝去，阳光也不再和煦温暖啊？”
杜鹃悲哀地说：“我这样可怜，怎能不伤心？请你帮我评评理。今年春天我曾幸福地恋爱，不久就当上了母亲。谁知孩子们完全不想与我相认，难道这就是我所盼望的报恩？当我看到小鸭子把母鸭围住，十分亲昵，而母鸡一声召唤，小鸡就向母鸡扑去，我怎能不感到羡慕？而我无依无靠，孤孤单单，根本不知道什么是孩子们对母亲的`依恋。”
斑鸠回答道：“可怜的杜鹃，我对你深表同情。如果孩子们如此不孝顺，那我可无法忍受，尽管这类事层出不穷。可是你说你已经生育过孩子？你什么时候筑的巢，我怎么从没有看到呢？在我印象中你总是不停地飞来飞去。”
杜鹃不屑地说：“浪费大好时光，卧在巢里去孵雏，做那种事简直愚笨如猪！我总是在别的鸟巢里下蛋，让它们替我孵。”
斑鸠禁不住讽刺道：“那你还希望从孩子们那里得到什么温暖？”
