偶而看电视，看到节目预告将会讲述一件真实的事件，于是决定看。
报道是去年冬天北方一个城市，有一位妇女自***，爬上了一个很高的烟囱，不知道什么原因，躺在了烟囱顶端不足一平方米的脚手架上。报道开始时，已经是有人报了警，消防防到达了现场，镜头中那妇女一动不动的躺着。当时正下着大雪，烟囱超过七十米高，而消防的云梯最高只有五十米左右，无法使用云梯救人。那种烟囱估计北方许多大型工厂都有，红砖砌成，外面有一排没有围栏的梯子。梯子是铁做的，不过长年累月的日晒雨淋，锈蚀的很厉害，加上当时下着大雪，很有可能梯子上结了冰块。
不能使用云梯救，就只能有人徒手攀上梯子去解救。两名消防人员为了轻便脱去了大衣，带上必备的工具爬上了烟囱。烟囱都是顶端比下端窄小许多，当消防人员到达顶端时，完全没有可支撑自己的地方。一名消防人员只好骑在烟囱上，一脚在还在冒烟的烟囱里受热，另一只脚在外面的雪花中受冻。脚手架不足一平方米，解救行动可想而知的困难，经过消防员的努力终于将那名妇女解救了下来。过程用上惊心动魄一点都不夸张，看的人也捏着一把汗。不仅天气恶劣，到达70多米的空中，风力也加大许多，同时那名妇女是昏过去的，不能配合解救工作。两名消防员是冒了巨大的风险的，稍有不甚就会失手，那样结果会很可怕。
看到成功的解救之后，电视里在场的人和在看的我，也由衷的高兴。为消防员的机智和勇敢，为他们能在这么恶劣的天气中的成功鼓掌。
我不是学新闻的，只是看新闻的观众。对新闻的理解就是媒体告知我们每天发现的事，让我们了解世界，明白我们生活的环境。重大新闻让我们了解国际、国家大事，财经新闻让我们了解我们生存环境的经济发展情况，社会新闻则让我们了解每天发生在我们身边的事。如今是资讯时代了，每个人都离不开各种资讯。不少社会新闻更让观众从中得到不少知识、见解，积累了他人的经验，对自己生活中遇到的人和事多少有了借鉴、判断的参考价值。看新闻，做为一个观众，当然希望看到的都是真实发生的事情，虚假的东西只会误导人。
像这类解救的真实故事，就是喜欢看的一种，相信会有不少人也喜欢看这类的新闻，讲述的的事可能就会发生在身边。万一遇到类似的事情，应该怎么处理，怎么配合等，可以从中学到，当然这也让我们看到消防员们的英勇。只是，还是有些意犹未尽，有一种没完全报道完的感觉。听完爬上烟囱解救妇女的消防员介绍他们如何做到的，其现场观众对他们由衷的鼓掌之后，就完了。对于那位妇女，交待了一句送往了安全的地方。
在我为消防员鼓掌喝彩之余，我更想知道那位妇女的情况。她被解救下来之后，身体状况如何？她在烟囱上已经躺了过二小时，那种冰天雪地的天气，在七十多米的高空中，她健康和精神方面如何？安全的地方是指哪？是医院还是她的家，都没有说。没有一个那妇女的近镜头，她为什么要自***？为什么选择爬这么高的烟囱？这次是解救下来了，不知她的问题解决没有？我自然希望看到有跟踪的报道，了解她为何如此？还会不会再做出轻生的决定？
如果那名妇女的问题没有解决，再次做出这种决定，不仅牺牲她一个人的生命，也让冒生命危险辛苦解救她的消防员的这次解救也浪费了。如果这则新闻，有后续的报道，对这名妇女的现状有一个交待，那真要为这报道打一百分了。虽然没有看到后续，还是由衷的希望那名妇女的问题已经解决，珍惜生命。

山西吕梁山有一对70多岁的老夫妇，男的叫李兴桂，女的叫张秀连。双节之前十来天，这对老夫妇便开始忙乎起来了，“吱呀吱呀吱呀……”推着村边那台沉重的石磨转了一圈又一圈，鲜红色的辣椒越磨越细。张秀连撒上盐和蒜，再磨几圈，一股浓浓的香味扑鼻而来。老人家一想到再过两天孩子们回来就吃到这香喷喷的辣酱脸上的笑容像开了花一样。老人还把被子拿到外面晒了晒，就等着孩子们回来了。
老夫妇一共育有6个子女，都在外地打工，也都很忙。为了准备足够的辣酱，老两口起早贪晚抓紧时间用石磨碾压着辣椒，白天磨好辣酱送到集市上加工，晚上回家后再把平时收集的瓶子拿出来刷洗干净装满辣酱。他们盘算孩子们走时每人都能多带上他们最爱吃的辣椒酱。一切准备好了，老两口高兴地期待着儿女们早日回来过个团圆节。
10月1日前的一个下午，老人家一连接了几个电话，先后得知孩子们一个都回不来了。听后，两位老人哭了：“哪怕回来一个呢。”
