Dear Frank:
I am terribly sorry to tell you that I have lost the valuable book you were so kind to lend me last week. I read it everyday and intended to finish it next month. Last night when I came to my room, it was nowhere to be found. I will try to recover it as soon as possible. If I fail to find it, I will get a new book for you.
But I am afraid it can never take the place of the old one. Old books are like old friends. Once lost, they can never be replaced. They are connected with cherished associations which the new ones can never have. And for this irrecoverable loss, I am to blame. I was so careless with my things. This is a warning to me to be more careful in the future.

I am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having answered your letter dated 7, December sooner, but when I have told you the reason, I trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. When your letter arrived, I was just in Hong Kong. As my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when I took it up. Now the first thing I have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.
I enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. I shall be pleased to give you an account to of them when I see you next.

“扭一扭”，你好！
今年暑假，我去了北京，你在家里热情地款待了我们全家。你和我一起去冰场滑冰、去奥林匹克森林公园捞鱼……明年暑假，我邀请你到我的家乡南京来玩玩。我来给你介绍介绍吧！
首先，我要向你说说南京的景点。和北京一样，南京也是很适合旅游的城市。南京可玩的地方很多，雨花台、玄武湖、中山陵，这些都是很有文化底蕴的。南京最主要的景点嘛，那就要数夫子庙了。夫子庙于公元1034年建成，这组伟大的古建筑历经沧桑，几番兴废。1982年，政府为保护古都文化遗产，几度拨专款，经过数年的精心维修，如今的夫子庙已是繁华兴盛。夫子庙还会举办金陵灯会、祭孔等活动，这些都是流传于南京地区的民间传统习俗活动。而且，夫子庙都被评为“中国旅游胜地四十佳”之一了呢！
南京的小吃更是数不胜数，盐水鸭和猪头肉，那可是名列前茅的。据说盐水鸭在桂花盛开时又叫桂花鸭，因为他会散发出桂花的香气。盐水鸭皮白肉嫩、肥而不腻、香鲜味美……哈哈，你看见我用这么多形容词来描述它，定能想到我对它的喜爱。南京的猪头肉也是很受人民群众的爱戴的`，我品尝过***妈做的回锅肉，色、香、味俱全，这从我们几个小伙伴抢食就能看出。可是，南京的猪头肉和***妈做的回锅肉可有一比呀！幸好你不像儿时那么胖了，可以美美地吃上它，因为猪头肉不宜肥胖者多食哦！
我亲爱的小伙伴呀，希望你趁早到南京来领略下南京的风水人情，品尝下南京的特色小吃，也让我做回小主人吧！

那天，天阴森森的，只有朗朗读书声传出教室。放学了，我和一些朋友来到食堂吃饭。但是我和我的朋友引发了一件恶劣的事情。食堂里同学们窃窃私语，人人脸上洋溢着欢乐的笑容，都文明地吃着饭。
我坐在了自己的\'位子上，和同学们谈笑风生，郑?辰坐在我旁边，和我们说说笑笑，他没坐在自己的座位上，坐在了余子尖的位子上。过了许久，余子尖来了，他愁眉苦脸地让郑路成离开他的位子，当他的火已经发到了极点后，他忍无可忍地把汤坚决地洒在了郑路成的脸上，郑?辰的头发像洗了头似的，全湿了。
郑?辰也去泼余子尖，我在一旁站了起来，去掐余子尖的脖子，余子尖也大呼小叫的叫着，其他同学没有像我一样和余子尖吵的，只有我、郑?辰和余子尖在一起互相大骂。我还去推余子尖，但余子尖始终没有还手。
余子尖，我真想对你说：“对不起。”但每当见到你，我就不敢对你说，心似乎受了控制一样，但是我在今日终于鼓起勇气向你说了一声：“对不起。”虽然雨依然下着，但是我和你的友谊地久天长。

一来到这个地方，我就看到远处有两只普通僵尸：“什么？这不是《植物大战僵尸》里的普通僵尸吗？怎么会出现在这里呢？”我还没回过神来，旁边的豌豆射手说：“豌豆兄弟，你在干什么呢？”什么？豌豆？难道我是豌豆射手？我一看自己：我真的是豌豆射手！“要快点射击，不然我就会被僵尸吃掉。”我连忙从嘴巴里吐出十几个豌豆，顺利地把那两只僵尸打败了。但是，又有十几只僵尸出来，我想：这可怎么办呀?忽然，旁边的\'玉米射手提醒我：“豌豆兄弟，你这是么啦？你难道忘记你可以变成植物王国里的所有事物了吗？”“真的？我可以变身？太好了！这回我可不怕你们了！”我就大声喊着：“火龙草！”果真，我变成了火龙草。我飞上天空对准僵尸，然后吐出熊熊大火，把所有僵尸都烧死了。太好了！我成功了！正当我想说这句话的时候，我又平安地回到了家。这次可真是有惊无险啊！
