这篇文章的作者是宗璞，讲述了她家园中，那偶然插入土中，又偶然生长起来的木槿的故事：当那木槿枝条插入园中满是荒草的泥土中时，它竟生长起来，并伴随着作者的惊叹第一次开了花。后来，在泥土、钢筋、木条等物品的重压下，木槿又再一次花发，着实令作者震撼了。
而这一株木槿，又何尝不是让我感到不可思议呢？
它虽然不像牡丹那样雍容华贵，不像玫瑰那样明艳动人，也不像水仙花那样清美秀丽，虽然它看起来是那么的平庸，但是，在这百花凋零的秋至，在这钢筋木条的重压下，它竟能开出花来，而且开得这样美丽，这样令人尊敬，确又是怎样的伟大呢？
一株木槿尚且如此，我们人类又是怎样的呢？
古往今来，不知道有多少人，在面对学习的问题，生活的压力时，选择了放弃、选择了堕落与颓废呢？曾经看过鲁迅先生的《孔乙己》，文中主人公孔乙己是一个可怜更可悲的人物形象，他本是一个心地善良的人，但腐朽的封建科举制度使他热衷于功名，酿成了好逸恶劳、自欺欺人、自命清高等不良习气，如果当时的他能充分利用自己的能力，去替别人抄抄书、写写信等，脚踏实地地生活，而不是好吃懒做，也不至于沦落到靠偷盗来维持生计，最终被人打断双腿、屈辱地死去的悲惨结局。
此时此刻的我，虽然生活在衣食无忧的年代，但在学习的过程中，也会有遇到困难、遇到挫折，却不想继续前进的时候，但是，不经历风雨，哪能见彩虹？不经过严寒，如何迎来春天？只要我们能像木槿花一样，不畏严寒、不畏重压，又怎么不会成功？

i picked some colourful flowers. we drank tea with milk. there is a small desert, it was very hot when i walked on it. the sand could sing. these trips helped me open my eyes. i enjoyed my day.

这篇文章主要描绘了作者在悲伤失落之时发现娇嫩的木槿花被雨打湿、被钢筋、砖块压倒后依然坚挺屹立的风姿。作者被震撼了，我也被这傲然挺立的木槿花感动了。谁也不曾想到这看起来非常平庸的木槿花竟有这样坚贞不屈的品格。作者看着木槿花，想到自己，觉得自愧不如，我又何尝不是这样的想法？

无独有偶，我在生活中也曾经遇到很多困难，特别是一次考试失利，曾让我万念俱灰。那次数学测试作为班里的“数学尖子”的我只考了73分，老师失望的对我说：“你最近怎么了，好好反思一下！”听完老师的话，我难过极了，放学回家后，我依然非常消沉，对什么都没有兴趣，手里随便翻着书桌上的书籍，无意间我又看到了《好一朵木槿花》这篇文章，我的心中豁然开朗。之后，我戒骄戒躁，勤学多问，争取把每道题都弄懂弄通。终于，在又一次测试中，我再次名列前茅，老师笑了，我也笑了。其实，一次成绩代表不了什么，关键在于坚持不懈、勇于战胜困难的精神。而木槿花不正是如此吗？
