根据有关人员统计，在地震发生时，真正由于灾难本身造成的伤害并不大，那又是什么使这么多人遇难呢?原来，真正的“***手”是惊慌。惊慌使得许多人只会随别人行动，而不能冷静地思考。由于逃身的本能驱使，使得人们不是仓皇跳楼，就是相互拥挤踩踏而死，或是在楼房垮塌前没有及时躲避到相对安全的地方……
地震是不可预测的，如果人类能够预测地震的发生时间、震级和地区，如果我们学会了自救，就不会有那么多的生命消失。我们不甘心，虽然我们不可以预测地震的到来，但我们却可以用防震知识武装自己，来准确地防止和减少地震给我们带来的伤害。
那么，当地震灾难降临时，我们该怎么办呢

On the afternoon of October 28, the weather was particularly sunny. The day I had been looking forward to for two weeks finally came. Today, we are going to the emergency rescue training base of the Municipal Red Cross Society to learn first aid knowledge and skills.
We took a bus to our destination. First of all, the volunteers of the Municipal Red Cross Society explained to us the origin, functions and components of the Red Cross movement.
From his introduction, I know that may 8 is the World Red Cross Day every year. The bright red red cross represents the spirit of humanity, fraternity and dedication. Then, we started the practical operation. The first one was cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Volunteers introduced the operation process of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and simulated first aid.
Secondly, volunteers also teach us four skills of trauma rescue: hemostasis, dressing, fixation and handling. When learning hemostatic bandage, volunteers showed us triangular towel head bandage, stirring rod bandage, etc. Finally, we carry out practical operation.
Under the careful guidance of volunteers, we studied very hard, and everyone mastered these first-aid skills.
Time passed quickly, and the afternoons study soon came to an end, and the students were still not satisfied. 据《减灾必读》一书的统计，历史上各种自然灾害曾毁灭了世界各地52个城市，其中因地震而灭的城市就占了27个，超过一半;其余25个城市受毁于地震以外的如水灾、火灾、火山喷发、风灾等。因此，地震灾害作为自然灾害的.“群灾之首”是名副其实地震的威力十分的大，为了不让美丽的城市变成废墟，为了不让拥有幸福家庭的孩子变成孤儿……我们从小就要知道如何在地震中逃生，不要慌张地向户外跑，请躲在桌子等坚固家具的下面，户外的场合，要保护好头部，避开危险之处。在汶川大地震中感人的场景随处可见，有教师、有消防员、有母亲……其中让我最感动的就是一位50岁的男教师―谭千秋。他用自己的生命在地震发生的一瞬间展开双臂用自己的血肉之躯来保护4名学生。最终被湖南省委书记张春贤誉为“英雄不死，精神千秋!”我们是祖国未来的建设者，保卫祖国、建设祖国是我们的责任。

今天我跟着明德小分队到了个防震减灾的训练基地，虽然从外面看起来只是座普通的房子，但里面却有许多的项目。
我们先到第一个展厅，看到这有个有时候古时候张衡发明的地动仪（模型）。它是一个大鼎，上面有八条龙，龙嘴里有颗珠子，面向八个方向：东、南、西、北、东北、东南、西南、西北，下面对应有八条蟾蜍，哪个方向地震了，相应龙嘴里的珠子就会掉到对应蟾蜍的嘴里，这样就可以判断哪里有地震。
让我印象最深刻的是那位给解放军敬礼的小孩——郎铮。他在地震中受了伤，被解放军救出，他的左手骨折不能动，但他用虚弱的右手向解放军敬了一个标准的军礼，这一幕把在场的所有人都感动了。在地震时，有个班级正在上课，在老师的帮助下很多同学都逃了出去；有四名学生没有逃出去，跑也跑不了，他们就躲在桌子底下，老师就用自己的身体护住他们，可是等救援人员赶到，这名老师已经没有了生命迹象。这四名学生因为有老师的保护而幸存了下来，这一幕让我感动……
讲解员还告诉我们，地震时如果在室内应该尽快躲进桌子底下，或用硬物顶在头顶上后躲在墙角，也就是“三角区”。还让我们体验了地震模拟，威力真大！所以逃生方法一定要牢记。
通过这次活动，我从中学习到了怎么样在地震中存活，也感受到英雄们无私奉献、舍已为人的精神。我想让更多的人学生在地震中求生，也想要让人们知道那些英雄的事迹，向他们致敬！
