今晚，我一如既往，趴在书桌前做着看似根本做不完的作业，心里不住地重复到：哎，每天都是这样，每天都是这样，真烦!难道就不能换一种生活方式吗?
突然，这时不知从哪儿冒出一只小虫，它立马引起了我的好奇心，我呆呆的望着它，看着它不停地朝台灯灯光最明亮的地方爬去，它刚开始爬得还挺顺利，但在上那比它身高都要高出好几倍的“台阶”时，却显得十分吃力，摔倒了一次又一次。尽管如此，它也似乎完全没有放弃的念头，它仍在坚持着，努力着，然而，它的这种行为，刚开始在我看来不仅仅是可笑，甚至可以说是愚蠢的。
于是，我便继续埋头做作业，大约半小时后，当我再一次把目光投向它时，令我万万没有想到的事发生了：它静静的，一动不动地躺在灯光最强烈的地方，我以为它一定是累了，所以躺下休息，我便轻轻触了触它，这才发现，原来它已经死了，这不禁令我感慨万分：一只生命力如此脆弱的小虫，竟有着这般伟大的精神，它为了自己心中的那片光亮，甘愿献出了生命。
我想，虫尚且如此，而有的人为什么偏偏做不到呢?飞蛾扑火，可能在很多人看来，这都是一种自取灭亡，很不值得，很愚蠢的行为，但我觉得恰恰相反，飞蛾它能为了自己心中的梦，为了自己的理想，义无反顾地献身，又有什么不值得的呢?
其实，这正如许多人一样，比如贝多芬、霍金等，他们都是身残志坚，贝多芬在双耳失聪后，却仍然坚持音乐创作，直至生命的最后一刻“我要扼住命运的咽喉”，这句话不正好体现了他在面对挫折时不屈不挠的精神吗?因患卢伽雷氏症，被禁锢在轮椅上长达20年之久的'霍金，却身残志不残，成功地把挫折化为优势，克服了残废之患而成为国际物理界的超新星。
虽然他不能写，甚至口齿不清，但他超越了相对论、量子力学、大爆炸等理论而迈入创造宇宙的“几何之舞”，尽管他无助地坐在轮椅上，他的思想却出色地遨游到广袤的时空，解开了宇宙之谜，这些都是我们有目共睹的，即使他们身为残疾人，但他们从未放弃过，因为他们有梦，他们从未退缩过，因为他们有信念，他们从未畏惧过，因为他们有理想，他们的脚步从未停歇过，因为他们一直在寻找自己心中那片光亮，纵有千难万险，他们也会面不改色，因为有梦的人是打不败的，有信念的人是坚定的，有理想的人是无所畏惧的。
我现在不仅拥有健康的身体，还有爱我的爸爸妈妈，所以，我又有什么理由不努力学习，而去抱怨呢?每个人心中都有一片光亮，为了它，我们义无反顾。

There is no doubt that the symbolic meaning subtly conveyed in the picture should be given deep consideration. As we all know, a man who does not sweep a room, doesn't mention to sweep the world. In other words, the foundations of a building must be strong, or else the whole structure will fall down someday.
