迪斯尼于1991年全面收复失地的第一作,虽然剧情还是王子与公主的老套,其中穿***太多的音乐和歌曲,这都是老迪斯尼的特征,不过我们也看到了迪斯尼开创动画长片大片的模式,在一年之后的《阿拉丁》,我们就看到了新时代的全新的迪斯尼作品。
《美女与野兽》是经典的故事,本片人物形象生动可爱,不足之处在于剧情方面还没有完全放开想象的翅膀。《阿拉丁》就颠覆了传说中的灯怪的的形象,开创了1992年的票房最高纪录。
然而本片由Peabo Bryson和Celine Dion对唱的主题曲已然成为永恒的经典。

电影美的呈现是颇令人惊诧的,《美女与野兽》作为一部享誉世界的经典童话,时隔近七十年的返璞归真,再次被法兰西这个曾创作它的国度搬上银幕,法式电影的浪漫格调与宛若油画般的镜头质感,营造了这奇幻曼妙的光影之梦,这是一场献予大人的法式童话。
谈起《美女与野兽》最为人家喻户晓的当是迪士尼于1991年制作的动画电影,但这并不是这个童话故事第一次被搬上银幕,早在1946年法国便早已然拍摄了同名真人电影,而这次的在度翻拍,技术层面上已然不可同日而语,追求电影镜头的精致,使这个法国著作能完美无瑕的得以还原于银幕,俨然成为了其首要因素,这也是选用曾在《寂静岭》《狼族盟约》中担任导演,见长于场景画面渲染法国导演克里斯多夫·甘斯的原因,就电影成片来看,画面的美感确实达到了令许多好莱坞大片都望其项背的高度,这种独具匠心美的呈现不仅是源于特效的营造,电影中华丽的礼服、夺目的背景、还是那深谙欧式风情精雕细琢的古堡城镇,这独到的美感更在于那法国文化呼之欲出深厚的人文底蕴。
画面的致美却未能在剧情上得见经典是新版的《美女与野兽》颇为人遗憾之处,作为一部翻拍著名童话的电影,剧情创新或能让观众眼前一亮,但因有其度的把控,顾此失彼以削弱电影人物情感主线为代价,来打造一支新的前世今生的故事辅线,使得电影“美女与野兽”这个核心命题却在新版中显得异常薄弱,爱与被爱的情感渲染因前篇缺乏积淀,本因是最为真挚感人的这人兽情缘在最后的结合却给人以莫名的牵强突兀,谱写了新的故事,却未能抓住原著经典真正的精髓,这不仅是《美女与野兽》,亦是许多翻拍经名著却未能获得称赞的症结。
对新版《美女与野兽》法式童话的评价并非单纯的褒义,电影虽有其独到的`法式浪漫,但剧情的欠缺使这部电影终只是部中肯的童话,却未能成为一部胜于蓝的佳作。
