我想设立一个新的节日，叫丰收节，就设在每年阴历八月八日。
因为每年阴历八月是秋收的季节。在这秋意浓浓的日子里，田野里五彩缤纷，到处是一派丰收的景象。玉米举着红缨乐了，忘掉一个夏天的烦恼。成熟的向日葵绽放着圆圆的脸蛋，对着太阳笑；高粱红着脸，被风吹得折弯了腰；胖乎乎的山芋钻出地面，向农民伯伯问好。苹果变大了，穿上了红袄；葡萄圆鼓鼓的，披上了紫袍；石榴裂开了嘴，把它的红色宝石向人们炫耀。在这个季节里，农民伯伯每天脸上都带着开心的笑。我想，在八月八日设立这个丰收节最贴切不过了，既庆祝丰收，也赞美劳动的美好。
在这一天，老老少少喜笑颜开欢度节日。人们能到田野里集会，，举行收割仪式或采摘仪式。邀请一位德高望重的老伯伯掰第一颗玉米，或采摘第一个苹果，大家敲锣打鼓给他戴上大红花，表示对劳动者的尊重和爱戴。然后，大家载歌载舞，表演节目，庆祝丰收。最后，采摘开始。人们欢呼雀跃奔向田间，掰玉米、刨花生、采苹果、摘梨子．．．．．．苹果园里，有贪玩的小孩子在快乐地追逐嬉戏，有嘴馋的小男孩在爬树摘苹果，还有胆小的小姑娘站在梯子上摘果子，突然有调皮的小男生悄悄靠近梯子故意摇晃，吓得小姑娘大声尖叫。农民伯伯看到了，哈哈大笑。
希望在这一天，每个人都开开心心，享受丰收的'快乐，感受劳动的美好。
