这个故事是讲:在唐山大地震中，有一个女孩她和她的弟弟同时被压在了巨大的石板下时，当时只能救一个人，这时她的妈妈选择了弟弟。这个可怜的'小女孩在坚硬的石板的压迫下，还要承受被亲生母亲抛弃的伤痛，为此，这个小女孩恨死了她的妈妈。
还好，在幸运之神的眷顾下，这个小女孩活了下来，被一对好心的解放军夫妇领养，并且健康地长成了一个漂亮懂事的好女孩。她的养父母为了让她去寻找亲生母亲，给她留了一大笔钱，这是一种多么伟大的高尚的情怀呀!
在汶川地震时，这个女孩积极地参加了救援工作，无意之中遇到了她的弟弟。到了弟弟家，她的亲生母亲跪在地上，请求她的宽恕。女儿通过这次汶川救援工作，、理解了母亲当时无奈的选择，原谅了她的母亲。
这部片子带给我的震撼不仅只有这些，还有那些在影片中，满身淤泥的解放军叔叔们，他们在抗震救灾的过程中，奋不顾身，英勇拼搏，有的伤了，有的还奉献出了自己的生命，却从没发出怨言，这些人更值得我们尊敬、爱戴。
自然灾害是可怕的，但只要我们万众一心、众志成城，就一定能战胜困难，赢得胜利!
灾难只会让我们更加团结，团结必定使我们战胜灾难!
