On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

So people call it Mountain City。 In Chong Qing，I went to the Red Stone Center， to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past。 It is a terrible and awful trip。 There are a lot of dogs， and soldiers with guns near the prisons。 And most of the prisons are good， they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were。 They lived in very small houses。 No good food to eat， no good water to drink。They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing。
I think they are the heros in that century。 I will follow their spirit。

古人说：“读万卷书，不如行万里路。”爸爸为了让我们不要闷在家里太久，特地带我到著名的“欢乐谷”玩，于是我们就坐着爸爸飞快的车子，奔驰再像迷宫一样的高速公路，开开心心的出发了。
来到欢乐谷，我们先找到停车位，在去购票，然后才进到欢乐谷，但没想到里面比我想象的还要大，所以我马上卷起衣袖，跑到我最喜爱的游戏区，但那时我已经汗流浃背、气喘如牛了呢！虽人卧已经抵达了，但我的家人还远在天边呢！于是我就坐在路边，等待家人的到来，过了不久，终于等到了家人，就和他们一起玩，玩到了傍晚，才依依不舍的离开。
旅行的意义是什么？有些人是为了获得乐趣，还有些人是为了拓展视野，更有些人是为了增加知识，虽然已获得乐趣的人居多，但旅行真正的意义是为了拓展视野，增加知识，例如：去欢乐谷可以认识建筑物，去民族文化村可以知道民族的文化特色，而想要拓展视野的人可以去山上或海边。所以即使是忙碌的上班族，也要抽空到户外踏青，因为旅行是为了拓展视野，增加知识呢！
经过了那一次的旅行，使我觉得自己一定要去很多地方，让自己变聪明，所以未来我要让全世界都有我的足迹，使我更认识这个美丽的世界呢！
