The fact that currently there are more graduates than jobs reminds us of the importance of rational thinking. Every year approximately 3 million students graduate from universities and begin looking for work. Many of them fail to find suitable employment because there are simply not enough opportunities to accommodate such great numbers of graduates. In addition, however, one might also cite flawed individual assessment as a reason.
In order to create a realistic target for one's future, one must make rational decisions and prepare accordingly. A student who aims to be a surgeon, for example, must take care to acquire opportunities to do clinical practice and gain sufficient knowledge. In other words, customers would do well to take accurate measurements before purchasing their fabric. A small piece of cloth cannot adequately clothe a large person.

故事中，历尽了生活坎坷的主人公为了爱孩子舍得用靠摩托车出租挣来的钱，每天给孩子带点东西回家，然而，当他得知自己小孩小偷小摸时，他恨铁不成钢，竞活活把孩子打死。我曾经也见到过类似这样的现象，宁静的校园里几声狂吼震慑了老师，吓蒙了孩子，紧接着又是啪、啪几下耳光，家长对孩子身上出现的不理想行为做出了如此的反映。我见了心跳中掺杂着空白，在空白中又找到了答案：畸形的教育，苦涩的教育。
从父母而言，似乎给子女提供了好的物质条件，他就理所当然做个好孩子。相反如果家长从来不顾忌孩子的感受，只知道孩子做的事，却没有进行朋友式的交流。这样，提供得越多，孩子感受到的是隔膜的加深，仅有物质层面的关爱，并不构成好的教育。教育应该是实实在在的，通过爱的传递，触及到孩子心灵深处。与孩子平等地沟通交流，是教育得以实施的渠道。通过交流，父母能够真正理解孩子；通过交流，孩子也能够懂得父母的希望和爱：通过交流，孩子可以告诉父母他们的感受，能够感到自己并不孤独：通过交流，父母可以给与孩子鼓励和赞扬，并将对孩子的赏识用言辞和行动表达出来。
有这样一个故事：8岁的罗杰从学校回来，看上去很不开心。
“你看上去很累”妈妈关心地看着罗杰说。
“两个小朋友在图书馆里吵闹，老师找不出是谁，就罚我们所有的人在大厅几乎站了一天。”
“全班同学都站在大厅？怪不得你看上去那么累。”
“但是我跟老师说：‘琼斯小姐，我相信你能找到吵闹的那两个学生，所以你不用惩罚我们所有的人’。”
“因为少数人的过错而惩罚全班的人是不公平的！你能帮助老师认识到这一点很不简单。”

《圣经》中有这样一段话：你们是世界上的光，曾照山上是作为隐藏的。人点灯，不放在底下，是放在灯台上，就照亮一家的人。你们的光也当这样照在人前，叫他们看见你的好行为。真正的教育是光的教育，只有当这种光实实在在地照亮个体心灵，那么这种教育才能浸润于个体，建构个体美好的空间。用爱的交流，把真正的教育引向充实、和谐、高贵。正像刘铁芳教授说道：以一颗平凡、挚爱、理性的心灵来守望教育，守望我们心中的教育梦想。

Dear all,
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to my parents for teaching me to be positive and to be strong. “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” is the opinion held by Aristotle. It is the experience of our forefathers, however, it is correct even today, including my parenting.
It is widely acknowledged that parenting, which can also be explained as family education, is of great significance in our character forming and manner acquiring. To be more detailed, setting good examples instead of just giving precepts is the greatest achievement of my parents. They not only taught me to think for the best and prepare for the worst; they taught me how. They not only told me the benefits of being strong in mind; they proved it. All those things require huge amount of time and work, but it’s worth it.
Without my parents’ contribution and education, I would never be who I am now. But most importantly, I would never be more gratitude to them than today.

在《研究性教学：一种以问题为中心的教学理念》一文中，刘教授指出：好的教学实际上只是为了把学生引入“问题”之中，引入他们属己的“问题意识”之中，并且不断扩展他们的问题意识。这样，好的教学就不再是以其过程中的知识、技能的授——受作为教学的终极目标，好的教学不再是一次性地解决问题，而只是通过暂时的解决问题来激励、焕发学生更多的问题，焕发学生的问题意识，让他们自觉地走上自己的问题思想之路。这也让我们对于现阶段正在研究的“问题意识”的课题有了更深更进一步的理解和认识，从而更好的处理教与学的关系。毕竟“教”是为了“不教”，我们的研究性教学也并不是为了把每个人都培养成学术研究的专家，而意在让每个学生都能自我“想问题”，能独立思考、判断、评价、选择、创造，视野开阔，并最终落实到对社会、自然世界以及自我人生的价值与意义的关注之中。
作为一个普通的一线教师，我想守望教育首先是守望课堂。因为课堂是教育的主阵地，还课堂以心灵的温度，还课堂以思想的灵动，还课堂以生命的活力。精心设计问题，指导学生学会独立思考，学会解决问题是我们提高课堂效率的关键，因此也是我们今后课堂教学研究的主要方向。坚守课堂，就是坚守教育之魂就是让教育拥有生命活力。
