竞秀区的英语作文【三】
园里的景致可多了，别说什么游泳池、喷泉了，这些大家都知道是什么样。最奇特的是这座公园修了一个“长城”，它在山岭上像条龙，“身体”翻上翻下，随着山势起伏不定，气势磅礴，丝毫不减西起嘉峪关，东入山海关的长城的雄伟。那灰色的城垛，仿佛弥漫着战争过后的硝烟。爬上去，仿佛自己是一员大将，在浴血奋战，在保卫国家……
小长城南面，有一个小湖。湖心是个岛，岛的四周很陡，水不断地往上冲。有座小桥，走过去，就看见一个古刹。古刹是古铜色的，门上横匾题“缠香刹”，里面供着观世音，四周还有画，充满着古朴典雅。古刹外边，长着许多草，特别容易“抓”人的脚，仿佛在告诫人们，这是佛门静地，不可轻进，不可轻出！
小湖很清，能看到水里轻轻游动的\'小鱼。它们成群结队，领头的游向哪儿，后面的就跟到哪儿。偶尔发现几条大鱼，小们躲在岸边的石头下，静静地呆着。远处，几条小船轻轻划过，还有几个人拉长了鱼线，正钓鱼呢！
湖上的小桥，栏杆两头刻着大石狮子，眼睛闪出猛兽特有光亮，利爪正按在桥头上，好像一有猎物，它就马上扑过去，狮子的牙齿尖尖的，虽然只露出两颗，但却是那样凶猛、尖利。真是神韵不凡，堪称竞秀公园的竞秀了。
竟秀公园的这些风景，“长城”和古刹比美；鱼和石狮比美，真不愧为“竞秀”。
