迎着风在街上闲逛的我被一处热点——臭豆腐摊吸引了视线。吃客源源不断，把摊点围了个里三层，外三层，作为一名资深吃货，本能使我凑了上去。只见老板的手边摆着一个大盒子，里面“卧”这一块块冒着臭气，布满黑点，白里透青的生臭豆腐。
“老板，来一份！”老板不紧不慢地夹起几块臭豆腐，往锅里一放，油花四溅，惊得我连连后退。下锅时，生臭豆腐先在锅中翻了几个跟头，沉入锅底，臭豆腐中的`水分与油发生了反应，“嗞嗞”声不绝于耳，渐渐地，臭豆腐的四个边角开始泛金，发皱，形成了一条不规则却又极其精巧的荷叶边，散发出一股淡淡的异香，香与臭结合在一起，本相斥，却有一种莫名的和谐感。臭豆腐冒起了一个个小汽泡，就像穿上了一条价格不菲的蓬蓬裙，热油似乎在应和半生不熟的臭豆腐，也“咕嘟咕嘟”冒起了泡，油锅就是舞台，而臭豆腐就是翩翩起舞的舞者。出锅了，老板挥起漏勺，捞出臭豆腐，抽起一根竹签，串好一串，淋上调料，一串可口的臭豆腐就做好了。
看着前面几位顾客吃的津津有味，我垂涎三尺，一把夺过老板手里的臭豆腐串，狠狠地咬上一口，表皮酥酥的，边缘脆脆的，再加上配料，辣、麻、酸……变幻无穷。再品上一口，这一口差点烫掉了我的舌头，值得庆幸的是这并没有令我丧失味觉。醇香的汁水四溢，露出了豆腐的本质，软软嫩嫩，三口两口“消灭”了臭豆腐，唇齿留香，细细回味臭豆腐的味道，我欲罢不能。
俗话说闻着臭吃着香，说的就是臭豆腐啦。作为一道著名的风味小吃，臭豆腐果然名不虚传。
