It is important for you to learn some knowledge about first aid in your daily life. If a person has an accident, he needs medical care before a doctor can be found. When you give first aid, you must pay attention to three things. First, when a person stops breathing, open his/her mouth and see if there is food at the bulk of his/her mouth. Second, if a person cannot breathe, do you best to start his/her breathing at once, using a mouth to mouth way. Third, if a person is hurt badly, try at once to stop the bleeding. Many accidents may happen at home. All parents should know first aid in order to deal with common injuries which may happen to their children. When a person is bitten by an animai, wash the wound with cold running water before he/she is taken to see a doctor. When a person is burnt, wash and cool the area of the skin under the cold tap for a while. Then put a piece of dry clean cloth over the burn. If the person is badly burnt, take him/her to the doctor. If a person cuts his/her finger, clean it and put a piece of paper round the cut. Every bodyrshould know some first aid in order to save othe peoples lives.

这一个早晨，初入秋季，可有夏季留下来的气息。但也是秋季，微风吹过，伴随着一阵凉意吹过，那微黄的树叶经不起风吹，落在地上，为自己的`母树作养料。我趴在桌子上，感受着从我眼里流出温热液体流淌在我的手指上。回想起父亲昨晚拿成绩单砸在我脸上的情景，"你弹钢琴有用吗？能当饭吃吗？你也不看看你的成绩，成绩提不上去，还想弹钢琴，你以为你是什么？"父亲昨晚说的话今早依然回荡我的耳边。看着桌子上的成绩单，很清楚，也很刺眼我的名字在最后，我真的很差……
我有气无力地趴在桌子上，成绩单己经破我的眼泪浸湿了。忽然，一只温暖的手掌替我抹去了眼泪。我抽咽看着母亲，"妈，我是不是很差，”手环着母亲的后背，抱着母亲哭。母亲一脸心疼的看着我说:"你不差，不是每个人生来就很优秀，都是要通过后天的努力而优秀的。人生更是曲折的，不是每个人都能顺利的去完成一件事。你不要因为迷了路而忽视了自然风光，也不要因为你曾失败过，就觉得自己很差。”对呀，每个人不是生来就优秀的，也是通过努力而优秀的，那难道我因为曾受过伤，失败过，就觉得自己很差吗？那我现在说一句:"我不会这样下去的，我会再站起来的。”
我望着母亲的脸庞。可能每个人都有自己的一盏灯吧！而母亲一直是我的明灯，而且这盏是五光十色的，让我的成长过程中色彩不再单调。

世界安静了下来，一片寂静，生活中都充斥着死寂，我手中的卷子也不情愿的被束缚，挣扎着落在地上，我心中有些不悦：怎么又停电了！
我及不情愿的同母亲一起去买蜡烛，母亲在身后翻找着什么东西，久久未从房间里出来，我刚要埋怨，突然眼前的光线变得强烈了，原来，是母亲把手电找出来了。刚才，那楼道在我眼前还是无尽的深渊，而此刻却是充满温暖灯光的小路——心中也是温暖的。
我在前面走着，母亲在身后为我照亮下楼的路，可是这灯光突然消失了，害得我差点摔倒，我刚想回头埋怨母亲，可我却说不出话来。原来母亲用灯光照亮了别人回家的路，一位年迈的老人因为有了灯光从而可以看清楚前方的'路，不至于摔倒。
目送老人回家之后，母亲回过头来对我说：每个人其实都是一盏灯，只有照亮他人，才能体现自身的价值。
那一瞬间，我突然觉得手电筒发出的关不再明亮，反而，母亲的那句话却照亮了我的整个心灵，整个世界都是温暖的。
是啊，人生不就是在帮助他人的过程中，得到快乐，体现自身价值吗！
温暖的一句话点亮了我沉睡的心，点亮了整个世界，让我悟出了人生的真谛。

一些物质在变化的`过程中，会既发生化学变化又发生物理变化。如蜡烛燃烧、白糖加热时融化变色。我们周围世界物质的变化一般分成两类，即化学变化和物理变 化。化学变化伴随的现象很多，最重要的特征是产生新的物质。物质发生化学变化过程，往往伴随产生种种现象，如发光发热、产生气体、改变颜色、产生沉淀物 等。
米饭里面的主要成分是淀粉。米饭、淀粉遇到碘酒颜色会变成蓝色，产生了一种蓝色的新物质。利用这一特性可以检验食物中是否含有淀粉。米饭在我们咀嚼的过程中，变得有甜味了，这是因为米饭中有一种叫淀粉的东西，在被我们咀嚼过程中发生了变化——淀粉变成了麦芽糖。
有些物质混合后不会生成新的物质，如沙子和豆混合；有些物质混合后会生成新的物质，如白醋和小苏打混合。小苏打和白醋混合产生大量气泡，生成新的气体——二氧化碳，这种气体能使燃烧的细木条熄灭，说明这种气体不支持燃烧。小苏打和白醋发生了化学变化。
我们喝的一些饮料中，就含有二氧化碳气体，当打开汽水瓶盖时，冒出的气泡就是二氧化碳；我们呼出的气体中也含有二氧化碳；蜡烛燃烧也含有二氧化碳气体产生。小苏打和白醋混合后产生的气体二氧化碳具有的特征是不支持燃烧、比空气重、无色透明。

On the afternoon of October 28, the weather was particularly sunny. The day I had been looking forward to for two weeks finally came. Today, we are going to the emergency rescue training base of the Municipal Red Cross Society to learn first aid knowledge and skills.
We took a bus to our destination. First of all, the volunteers of the Municipal Red Cross Society explained to us the origin, functions and components of the Red Cross movement.
From his introduction, I know that may 8 is the World Red Cross Day every year. The bright red red cross represents the spirit of humanity, fraternity and dedication. Then, we started the practical operation. The first one was cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Volunteers introduced the operation process of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and simulated first aid.
Secondly, volunteers also teach us four skills of trauma rescue: hemostasis, dressing, fixation and handling. When learning hemostatic bandage, volunteers showed us triangular towel head bandage, stirring rod bandage, etc. Finally, we carry out practical operation.
Under the careful guidance of volunteers, we studied very hard, and everyone mastered these first-aid skills.
Time passed quickly, and the afternoons study soon came to an end, and the students were still not satisfied. Before I took part in this activity, I didnt know what the Red Cross did, and I never wanted to know it. Through this afternoons study, I deeply felt that the Red Cross Society is really great.
