1、什么是会计职业道德呢?
所谓的会计职业道德，是指在会计职业活动中应遵循的、体现会计职业特征的、调整会计职业关系的职业行为准则和规范。
2、会计职业道德的含义包括以下几个方面：
(1会计职业道德是调整会计职业活动利益关系的手段。
在市场经济条件下，会计职业活动中的各种经济关系日趋复杂，这些经济关系的实质是经济
利益关系。在我国社会主义市场经济建设中，各经济主体的利益与国家利益、社会公众的
利益时常发生冲突。会计职业道德可以配合国家法律制度，调整职业关系中的经济利益关系，
维护正常的经济秩序。
(2会计职业道德具有相对稳定性。会计职业道德主要依附于历史继承性和经济规律，在社会经济关系不断的变迁中，保持自己的相对稳定性。没有任何一个社会制度能够容忍虚假会计信息，也没有任何一个经济主允许会计人员私自向外界提供或者泄露单位的商业秘密，会计人员在职业活动中诚实守信、客观公正等是会计职业的普遍要求。
(3会计职业道德具有广泛的社会性。会计职业道德是人们对会计职业行为的客观要求。从受托责任观念出发，会计目标决定了会计所承担的社会责任。尤其是随着企业产权制度改革的不断深化，会计不仅要为政府机构、企业管理层、金融机构等提供符合质量要求的会计信息，而且要为投资者、债权人及社会公众服务。
3、会计职业道德的作用：
(1会计职业道德是对会计法律制度的重要补充。会计法律制度是会计职业道德的最低要求，会计职业道德是对会计法律规范的重要补充，其作用是其他会计法律制度所不能替代的。
(2会计职业道德是规范会计行为的基础。动机是行为的先导，有什么样的动机就有什么样的行为。会计行为是由内心信念来支配的，信念的善与恶将导致行为的是与非。会计职业道德对会计的行为动机提出了相应的要求，如诚实守信、客观公正等，引导、规劝、约束会计人员树立正确的职业观念，遵循职业道德要求，从而达到规范会计行为的目的。
(3会计职业道德是实现会计目标的重要保证。从会计职业关系角度讲，会计目标就是为会计职业关系中的各个服务对象提供有用的会计信息。能否为这些服务对象及时提供相关的、可靠的会计信息，取决于会计职业者能否严格履行职业行为准则。
(4会计职业道德是会计人员提高素质的内在要求。社会的\'进步和发展，对会计职业者的素质要求越来越高。会计职业道德是会计人员素质的重要体现。一个高素质的会计人员应当做到爱岗敬业、提高专业胜任能力，这不仅是会计职业道德的主要内容，也是会计职业者遵循会计职业道德的可靠保证。
