俗话说：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”可见，写作能力的培养和提高关键在于阅读。多读书，读好书，边读，边思考，边积累，潜移默化间，写作能力自然会步步提升。像语文报、英语报等期刊、杂志之类，都是贴近小学生的学习生活的，这一类是大家的首选。其次，如果你们有空闲时间，我建议多读一些名着，这能丰富你的知识开阔你的视野，还要勤记笔记或写阅读心得。所谓：好记心不如烂笔头。在读书过程中，把里面优美的句子，精彩的段落摘抄下来，这样日积月累，持之以恒就能充实和丰富自己知识与语言积累。
作文有很多种类：描景、写人、些事……体裁不同，写作的方法也不同。如写人要注意以下几点：
一、要写出人的特点，所谓特点，也就是何其他人不同的地方，只有把特点写出来，才可使这个人给读者留下鲜明的印象。
二、抓住细节刻画人物。要出阿朱任务细微的动作及变化，给予生动、的描述，使原先平板、模糊的印象变得栩栩如生，有血有肉。
三、人物语言的的描写，要符合人物的身份和性格。要注意：语言描写，要符合人物的年龄、身份和特点，人物的语言描写，力求反映人物的特征。
考试是想要让自己写的作文得高分，最重要的还是要仔细审题。要先把作文要求读上两遍，想清楚要写的内容，列个提纲才可以开始动笔。（以防跑题或写一半觉得题材不够好但又没有足够的空间和充分的时间可以写而后悔莫及）
