??确看待自己马云说，如毕业于名校，就用欣赏的眼光看待别人，如果毕业于三四流学校，就用欣赏的眼光看看自己，为什么？我认为，不同的位置有不同的做法，应该正确看待自己。
当一个人处于高位，骄傲自满的时候会怎样？数家大企业，由辉煌转为***，只因为瞧不起后生，不跟随后生时代的脚步，最后被时代抛弃，落后于曾看不起或不在意的人，原因很简单，他们仅欣赏自己，眼光放在自己身上，而从未放在别人身上。
而当一个人处于略微自卑的位置，从不把欣赏放在自己身上，而是放在比自己优秀的人身上时，他又会怎样？愈发自卑，愈发无自信，无非两种可能罢了。从此可见，正确定位，以事业的方式看到自己是应当的。
有人赚得多高，看得就有多远，当然身处高处，感到高处不胜寒时，不如用欣赏的眼光看待别人，看他们的优点，找到自己的不足和缺陷，进一步改进自己更高的山，看个景，借此减少骄傲的产生，让内心平静，不应站得高就闭上眼睛，不尊重知识，把他人忽略，从而导致落后。以清明为例，如非闭关锁国，自认为天朝路上多不看他国优秀的武器，何会导致战败？
当生活在农村的学生来到城市中读书会有怎样的状态？只看到其他人的优秀，而忽略自己的.优秀，不去欣赏一下自己的闪光点，以致自卑，感觉低人一等，没有前进的动力，应该学会欣赏自己，发现自己身上他人所未拥有或少有的品性和东西，最终如马云一般，以三四流的学校毕业文凭，走到如今身价数百亿的阿里巴巴ceo的位置。
若身处低处，不如放开自己，给予自己的枷锁，用欣赏的眼光看自己，欣赏自己，而不是一直羡慕他人，而不去尝试让自己成为所羡慕的人。

首先，从空间上来说。“第一”决不是绝对的“第一”。在学校里得了“第一”，也许出了校门，就是“第二”。在国家得了“第一”，跨出国界，能列第几就很难说了。中国的篮球运动在亚洲也算是名列前茅了，在亚运会上也得过金牌，可是一到奥运会比赛，名次就落后许多了。就算在地球上得个“第一”，也不代表在离地球不远的几亿个星球上也还能保持“第一”。所以，得了“第一”，决不可以目中无物，傲视天下，须知“天外有天，人外有人”。其次，从时间上来说，“第一”的脑袋上非得加两个大大的引号不可，万事万物都在无休止地发展，不断地进步，这会将“第一”抛到“第二”，甚至“第三”。在以前，马是跑得最快的，后来是汽车，接着是飞机，现在是宇宙飞船跑得最快了。在世界的.竞赛中，每一项世界纪录都不断在刷新，眼前的“第一”决不是永恒的。所以，每个“第一”都只是在某个空间的“第一”，某个时间的“第一”。当你得到“第一”时，决不能骄傲自大，而更应该虚怀若谷;决不能停步不前，而更应该奋进不止。须知，你得到的“第一”不过是“天空中的一朵小小的云彩”罢了。须知“骄傲使入落后，虚心使人进步”。也许，有一些人会说，既然“第一”如此微不足道，“第一”外还有“第一”，那么得个“第二”“第三”不也一样吗?如果这样说，就大错了。无论多么渺小的“第一”，都要加以肯定。为下一个“第一”奠定好基础，为夺取一个更大的“第一”而加倍奋斗。诚然，得到第一是值得自豪的，但要看你所采取的态度，是把它当作终点，还是作为新的起点。我们并不是否定“第一”，而是提倡人们取得“第一”后继续向前。我们的目标应该永远是下一个“第一”，惟有如此，人类才会不断进步。

I take great pleasure in recommending Wang Yong, one of my favorite students, for admission into your distinguished graduate program.
Mr. Wang was admitted in 1986 at 14 years of age into the SPECIAL CLASS for the GIFTED YOUTHS, my university's unique program that caters to the intellectual needs of unusually talented Chinese youngsters. It was a rare privilege he earned with his nearly impeccable academic performance through the years of his elementary and secondary school.
He impressed me almost as he entered into my university, a major cradle of china's scientific and technological talents. At the time, members of the Gifted Class all had to spend half a month studying by themselves the principles of calculus and then take an exam so that we could evaluate their self-study capability. Mr. Wang scored the highest grade in that exam. He also exhibited a keenly whetted mind during class discussions. To my regret at the time, his English was not as good as his mathematics or physics.(缺点介绍，公正真实 But I noticed he made a point of working especially hard in improving his English during his five undergraduate years with us. By now, he seems to be at least as proficient in English as most of his former classmates in the Gifted Class.
In my experience with Mr. Wang, I was impressed with not only his extraordinary intelligence but also his ambitions and persistence. I am sure that Mr. Wang will be an outstanding student in any doctoral program that he may care to enroll in.
