如果教师的语言素养好，那么他上起课来会非常轻松，学生听的也非常明白，课堂效率怎能不高？相反，语言能力差，就会耽误许多时间。
首先，教师语言的纯洁性。教师的语言要纯洁、文明、健康。语言纯洁，就是要讲普通话。语言文明，就是用语要文雅、优美，语调要和谐、悦耳，语气要亲切、和蔼，使学生听后能产生愉快感，乐于接受教师的教诲。语言健康，就是在使用语言时，要切忌一切低级、粗俗的污言秽语。
语言是一个人文明程度的表露。教师的语言修养是其为人师表的重要因素，会对学生的道德品质培养和审美修养产生极大影响。苏霍姆林斯基指出：“对语言美的敏感性，是促使孩子精神世界高尚的一股巨大力量。这种敏感性，是人的文明的一个源泉所在。”因此，要启迪学生心灵，陶冶学生情操，教师就要用醇美的语言去触动学生心弦，给学生以美的享受，使其形成纯洁、文明、健康的心灵世界。
其次，教师语言的准确性。教师的语言要准确、鲜明、简练。所谓准确，就是要观点明确，语意清晰，发音标准，遣词得当，造句符合文法，推理合逻辑，用语具有专业性和学术性。所谓鲜明，是指语言要褒贬分明，饱含真情实感，爱什么，恨什么，赞扬什么，反对什么，泾渭分明。
所谓简练，是指语言言简意赅。论述简明扼要，提纲挚领；分析鞭辟入里，丝丝入扣；描绘画龙点晴，入木三分；见解独到深刻，令人耳目一新。这样的语言才会具有感染力和吸引力，才能够像春雨一样流入学生的心田，同时把美好的思想和科学的知识一道带进去。
例如：课堂教学中语言的运用很关键。说什么？怎么说？我有这样一个亲身经历的例子。在某节课上，有3个学生在底下作小动作。我没有正面批评他们，因为我试过无数次，对这几位学生都没有用。
于是，我就让他们主动站起来。顿时教室鸦雀无声，所有学生都以为我要批评他们了。我相信那几位学生也在思考要不要站起来。30秒之后，有一个学生站起来了。我没有批评他，相反，我表扬了他的诚实和勇敢，相信他如果能改掉作小动作的坏习惯的话将来一定能做大事。
我的话出乎学生的意料，我注意到没站起来的另两位学生的表情变化，一个脸已红得像红富士，另一个则低下了头。我的效果达到了，就继续上课。之后，这三位学生上课明显比以前认真了。
我想，教师的语言艺术是在每次教学实践中磨砺出来的。同样是教育上课开小差的学生，怎么说才能达到应有的效果？为什么我那样说没有效果呢？我觉得这是需要我们平时注意思考和积累的。

他还强调指出：能够在阅读的同时进行思考，和在思考的同时进行阅读的学生，就不会在学业上落后，而没有学业落后的现象，教师的工作就容易了……这样的句子在整册书中随处可见。
那么从大师的这些话中，可以看出学生喜欢上阅读是何等的重要，读了大师的这些建议后，我对班里的同学进行了分析，觉得确实是这样的。
拿到一篇文章后一般能够流利读下来的同学都是成绩比较好的，而等课文学好后也不能流利读下来的就是学习成绩不行的几位，看来阅读真的很重要，我想，这对我今后的教学是一种启示，在今后的教学中，我一定要重视学生的阅读兴趣的激发和阅读能力的培养，要多布置阅读文章的作业，给同学们多讲讲故事，以此来引导他们对阅读的兴趣。
尤其是对学困生的辅导，将从阅读方面下手，进行新的尝试，从“根“上解决他们贫困的原因。阅读是开启学生智力的重要手段，让阅读成为孩子的第一需要吧！在阅读的同时能够思考，在思考的同时能够阅读。这将是学生终身受益的法宝。
