我在宾馆里做着梦，突然，传来一阵“起床！”的声音，我看了看钟才4点钟，我又看看窗外，天还黑着。我又准备继续睡觉，但还是被叫住了，我问妈妈：“半夜叫人干嘛啊！”“等一下你就知道了。”妈妈说。我只好穿好衣服，跟着妈妈凑出宾馆，我们租了一辆车，看到了天安门广场，路上居然有很多和我们一样甘露的人，到了那里简直人山人海，妈妈猜到了我的疑惑，说：“我们都是来看升旗仪式的！”
我一路挤过去，总算是挤了个好位置，我等了很久，等天快亮的时候，升旗仪式终于开始了，我远远地看到一群解放军迈着特别整齐的步伐走出天安门城楼，走过金水桥，妈妈说这就是国旗护卫队，他们都是经过严格训练的，走到旗杆那里刚好是138步，多一步，少一步都不行。当国歌响起，解放军叔叔升起了鲜艳的五星红旗，我看着冉冉升起的国旗，不禁哼起一首歌：“五星红旗迎风飘扬……”
庄严的升旗仪式结束了，我想：“我们的祖国多么伟大，我长大了也要为国旗为国家做出贡献！”

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.

在“十一黄金周”期间，爸爸妈妈带我去了中国的首都——北京。爸妈为了完成我到天安门广场去看升旗的心愿，一大早就带我赶到了天安门广场，虽然时间还早，但这里早已是人山人海。
当第一缕晨光照耀在天安门城楼上时，国旗班战士踏着方步，喊着口号，匀速走过了金水桥。当看到战士走过来时，原本闹闹嚷嚷的广场一下子就肃静起来，肃静得连头发掉在地上都听得见。我见了战士们那种豪情，心中不由地想：祖国可真是越来越昌盛啊！一种自豪感从我心底油然而生。战士们整齐的步伐，走路时那种整齐的“咔咔”声，让人听起来十分悦耳动听。走过金水桥后，战士们走路的速度由慢变快，走路的姿势也不大一样。那时，广场上也已成了人的海洋。擎着五星红旗的战士将旗帜由前拿到后，战士们就像接收到了信号似的，由四排并为两排，步速也越来越快，虽快但不乱，还是那么井井有条地走着。5分钟后，战士们开始向四面走，只剩下三人并排走在一起。三人走到升旗台后，其中一人将红旗往上一扬，军乐团开始奏起《义勇军进行曲》，红旗缓缓地向上升着，顿时，广场上响起了雷鸣一般的掌声，还有和着音乐唱国歌的\'声音……
望着这长约20M的旗杆，我想起1840年林则徐虎门销烟的壮举，可真是大快人心；又想起八国联军烧毁圆明园的往事，我不禁引泪而下；又想起1949年10月1日，中华人民共和国成立，第一面中华人民共和国的国旗在天安门上升起，我十分激动。在2003年10月15日，我们民族的骄傲——杨利伟成功升入太空，在太空，他将五星红旗举给中国人民看，举给世界人民看，一种自豪感油然而生，真给中国人民争气……
我又抬起头来，只见红旗升到了旗杆的顶部，正在迎风飘扬。我想：落后就要挨打，只有努力学习，长大了才能保护好我们的家园，保卫好我们的祖国。所以，我下定了决心努力学习，为国家做贡献，为中华之崛起而读书！

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!
