大地在呼唤，它呼唤人们保护地球，地球上的资源在不断减少，大地上被人类乱砍伐的树木太多了。
绿是生命的颜色，绿是环保的颜色。有了绿色，便有了清新的空气;有了绿色，便有了怒放的花朵、沁鼻的花香;有了绿色，便有了健康的生命、美丽的家园。
地球上城市居民约有70?15亿人的人们呼吸着受过污染的空气，每天至少有800人因此而过早的死亡，每天约有1.5万人死于饮用被污染过的水，其大部分还是儿童。每天有5.5万公顷的森林被毁，161平方公里的土地被荒漠化。
在大街上经常看到一些不文明的人随意地丢弃手中的废纸、垃圾，我想如果人人都这样做，那么地球不就成了一个垃圾站了吗?地球是我们大家共同享有的家园，但如今正遭受着人类严重的污染和破坏，由于大量砍伐树木导致荒漠的面积迅速增加，随之像沙尘暴这样的“侵略者”使得很多人们失去了耕地，被迫离开自己的家园。

三月份里有许多特殊的日子。今天我想说说关于“植树节”的话题。1979年2月，我国五届全国人大常委会第六次会议决定，将每年的3月12 日定为中国的植树节。目前，全世界上已有50多个国家设立了植树节。由于各国国情和地理位置不同，植树节在各国的称呼和时间也不相同，全年12个月，每月都会有国家欢度植树节。 最早设立植树节的是美国。1872年4月10日，美国的加州把4月10日定为该州的植树节。我国1980年3月12日，发行了一套4枚题为“植树造林，绿化祖国”的邮票。
我们的校园虽然不适合我们的同学亲自种上小树苗，但我们通过其他的方法和渠道了解的关于如何去爱护树木，保护森林，保护环境的知识，以此来提高我们的绿化意识，环保意识。在这里大队部见议各中队要围绕植树节开展一些有意义的活动，同学们可以在班级中开展“种一盆花，添一份绿” 实践活动，多一片绿叶，多一份温馨。还有，加大宣传教育，利用黑板报、等阵地，增加学生环保知识;更不要忽视的是要“净化”校园，各中队要把班级里和校园中每一个卫生死角，都打扫的干干净净;最后，“美化”校园，以“环保”为主题，号召学生画一幅画、自办一份手抄报、写一篇作文、布置一期墙报，有条件的学生种一棵树或一株花。
同学们，我们已经踏着春天的足迹走进了令人神往的三月，春天，是种子撒播的黄金时间，在这阳光明媚、绿树萌芽、万物复苏的.季节里，我们希望全体同学能树立“绿色家园，从我做起”的理念，做到人人营造绿色、人人宣传绿色、人人保护绿色、人人拥有绿色，保护和美化我们的校园和家园。
