我生在济南，见到过大明湖的诗情画意，千佛山的壮丽和趵突泉的奇妙。小的时候，我听爸妈谈起了大海这两个字眼，一连串的疑问便在我心中油然而生：海有大明湖那样诗情画意吗？有千佛山的壮丽吗？有趵突泉的奇妙吗？终于，在我三年级的那个暑假，我第一次见到了梦寐已久的大海。
我们去的美丽的海滨城市烟台。早上东方刚刚露出了鱼肚白，因为住在海边，我和家人被阵阵汹涌的海浪声呼醒。我们急切地赶到海边，一起走在了海边软软的沙滩上，看着太阳慢慢从东方升起，任凭凉凉的海水冲到脚上，载着晨辉，我们出海了，坐在船上，向远外眺望，看见的是一望无际的海水，还有蔚蓝色的天空。海与天的分界线并不是那么清晰，朦胧的，像是云彩捉住了大海的小尾巴，又怕别人看见似的。
不久，再向回望，岸也没有了踪影，四周开阔极了。波涛汹涌的浪花奔跑着、唱着，象星星一般在水中闪耀。我不喜欢被闷在船舱里，于是就跑到甲板上，静静地站在那里，听海鸥为我唱歌，听大海为我喧腾。远处渐渐出现了岛屿，停船登岛后，我发现岛上树木丛生，偶尔露出一两块大石头，象是顽皮的孩子在同我们捉迷藏。站在石头上，颇有一番水何澹澹，山岛竦峙的味道。
大海有一番诗情画意，有壮丽的景色，更有奇妙的味道。大海真好，我从中读到了博大的胸怀、不屈不挠的毅力以及海纳百川精神。
海美、岛美、沙滩美、天空美……第一次见到大海真好！
