来到巴黎一大早，我们就去参观举世闻名的埃菲尔铁塔。
在船游塞纳河时我们已经远观了埃菲尔铁塔，领会到了它的壮观。这座高达320米的铁塔是由居斯塔埃菲尔设计的，以他的名字命名，用了2年的时间修建。富于幻想的巴黎人又给这座铁塔取了个美丽的名字云中牧女，从此，它就成为了巴黎的标志性建筑啦！
我们站在高处眺望埃菲尔铁塔，可以很清楚地分辨1、2、3层。第一层，也就是最宽的那层高57米，而第二层高115米，最令人瞩目的第三层高274米，作为观光台。导游介绍，埃菲尔铁塔在100年前就创造了钢铁建筑的奇迹，每口螺丝钉的力平衡到一个人坐在一张凳子上，它巨大的钢架和几何轮廓与巴黎的经典穹顶建筑形成鲜明的反差，却完美和谐地共处了100多年！享受着微风，还真有点像走入了仙境，看着车辆往来、人群来往，感觉飘飘然的，很是舒服。

8月6日，我从法国南部的小城阿维尼温乘坐高铁到法国首都巴黎。从坐上大巴的.那一刻起，我就迫不及待地想一睹埃菲尔铁塔的真容。
大巴约行驶了40分钟，远远就可望见埃菲尔铁塔高高耸立在我眼前。可这只是看到了塔尖而已，真想看到铁塔全身是什么样子。就这样，我满怀着好奇心来到了埃菲尔铁塔前。一下车，我顿时被震住了。埃菲尔铁塔高高地站在我面前，好像一位意志力坚强的哨兵，充满了威严，守护着巴黎。塔身呈一个巨大的A字，底座最大，因为她要支撑整座塔的重量。从远处看，底座仿佛就像圆形的拱门。塔尖有十几层楼那么高，直冲云霄！我真佩服建塔师斯塔夫．埃菲尔，他还曾说过：“埃菲尔铁塔把我淹没了，好像我一生只建造了她。”不错，埃菲尔一生当中除了铁塔还有很多杰作，可最著名的还非埃菲尔铁塔莫属了。
我心想：“埃菲尔铁塔可真是法国人民的骄傲，这么宏伟，这么壮观，这简直称得上是人间奇迹！”我几乎已经完全和铁塔融为一体了，心里只有铁塔，我沉浸在眼前的美景里，忘掉了一切事物。当我清醒时，已经快到集合时间了。于是我们拍了几张照片就恋恋不舍地离开了。我目不转睛地看着车窗外，只见埃菲尔铁塔离我越来越远，越来越远…………

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.
