As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

今天，薛老师给我发了一本《爱心树》，我很开心。
一棵大树爱上一个小男孩。小男孩在大树的枝干上荡秋千，吃苹果，采集树叶，和大树玩捉迷藏，累了在树阴里睡觉。
小男孩长大了，很长时间都没有找大树玩。有一天，男孩儿来到大树下，说自己需要钱来买好玩儿的东西。大树让男孩把自己的果实和枝叶卖掉。
后来，男孩又要盖一座房子，娶一个妻子，生很多孩子。大树让他自己的树枝砍断去盖房子。
又过了很长时间，男孩儿又找到大树，说自己要造一艘船，到很远很远的地方。大树让男孩把自己的树干砍断，做成小船。
又过了很多年，男孩又来看老树。老树什么也没有了，什么也不能给男孩了。男孩说我只想坐在一个安静的地方休息。老树说挺直身子，说你坐在我的老树墩上吧!
老树很快乐。
我认为老树很可怜，它给小男孩付出了一切，小男孩只知道来大树这里拿东西。
老树像妈妈，付出很多。

您好！您辛苦了！
眼间，十二年了，我从一个天真幼稚的女孩变成了现在一个懂事稳重的少女。在这十二年里，我在您的呵护下，越长越高，越长越大，可您却老了，一根根银发爬上了您的双鬓，在这十二年的日日夜夜里凝聚了您无数的心血，您为我做了太多太多，可我却没有什么能报答您的。
从我一出生，在您的生活里就添了一份责任，增加了一份负担，您又要照顾我，又要工作，每天忙得不可开交，妈妈，您辛苦了，每当我看到您工作回来疲惫不堪的样子，我总是很愧疚，您工作那么忙，可我还是那么的不听话，妈妈，对不起，我错了，从今以后，我一定会做一个乖孩子，听您的话，不让您操心。记得去年暑假，您给我报了绘画班，有一次，老师给我们留的作业是人物素描，妹妹在写作业，同学们又都有事，正当我不知该找谁时，我看到了午休的您，连忙跑过去，不懂事的我把您摇醒：“妈妈，妈妈，快起来，老师让画人物素描，你给我当模特吧！”您睁开朦胧的双眼，看到是我，眼神立刻变得温柔起来，说：“好好好，你说怎么就怎么，我们去画！”您拖着疲累的.身体，坐在阳台的椅子上，摆了个姿势，我拿着画夹，这里勾一勾，那里画一画，可还是不满意，撕了一张有一张……就这样，三个小时过去了，您不停地打瞌睡，为了让我好好画，您自己忍着，时不时看看窗外的景色，减少疲惫，可我却浑然不知。猛烈的阳光一直晒着您，汗水从您的脸庞上不停地滑落，您也不着急，不抱怨，反而安慰我说：“不着急，慢慢来，画画要有耐心，妈妈陪着你呢！”又过了好长时间，天渐渐黑了，我终于画好了，可您却动不了了，一下午，您一动不动，结果全身都麻木了，那个晚上，您彻夜未眠，直到天亮才缓了些，可还没睡下，您就又跑去工作了，结果，当天晚上，您就发烧了，我伤心极了，跑去向您道歉，认错，您却说：“没事，妈妈就是中暑了，不关你的事，没关系。”，妈妈，您知不知道，我当时有多感动，您真是我的好妈妈。

这是一本绘本，是一个男孩儿与一棵树的故事，一个让人懂得爱与奉献的故事，是进入心灵深处那一片净土的一个简单的故事。
故事讲了一棵大树给了男孩儿所有，它不求回报，只希望自己能帮助男孩儿，它愿意献出一切，只为了这个男孩儿和它在一起，一起开心的笑。后来，男孩儿树上的苹果去卖钱，拿树上的树枝盖房子，用大树的树干做了一艘船，最后大叔呀只剩下了树墩，可它也挺直身子让累了的男孩儿安静的休息。
“大树很快乐”，这句话不知道在文中出现了多少次，每次都是大树在帮助了男孩儿后得到的满足，大树的奉献是无私的，是不求回报的，只要男孩儿快乐，它便满足，它愿意为男孩儿倾尽所有。而男孩儿只知道索取，他不知道爱心树对他的爱是那么浓厚，以至于，无条件的付出给他，男孩儿索取的都是爱心树无限的爱。爱心树爱这个男孩儿，它不管男孩儿是否回报它，它只有无私的奉献。让男孩儿一直的索取。它会快乐。它只要帮助男孩儿就满足了，它只要它帮助男孩儿后男孩儿的开心。它不在乎自己，它把无限的爱都给了男孩。
最后，男孩儿在爱心树的树墩上坐下了，爱心树很快乐，它又一次帮助了男孩，它很快乐。
