我家养了一只小狗，它是我十岁生日时，爸爸送给我的礼物。我很喜欢它，给它取了一个好听的名字，叫贝格。
贝格很贪吃。有一次，我家做了红烧排骨，妈妈还没有烧好，贝格就时不时地冲着厨房叫着。烧好以后，贝格再也忍不住了，冲我“汪汪”大叫，好像在说：“小主人，我要吃我要吃！”我故意端到它面前吃，一边吃一边说：“嗯，这排骨真香，好吃！啧啧……”它见我不给它吃，就跳起来要抓住我的碗，我见了，一会儿把碗移左，一会儿把碗移右，就是不给它吃。过了一会儿，它放弃了，跑过来蹭蹭我的脚，一边蹭还一边望着我的碗，一副馋样。我见了，不禁哈哈大笑起来，忙夹了几块排骨放到它吃饭用的碗里。
贝格虽然贪吃，但是也很会“安慰”人。
有一天数学测试，我考得很不理想。回到家后，把自己锁在房间里，趴在桌子上哭了起来。哭声把小狗贝格惊醒了，它跳上桌来，好像要问我怎么了，见我在哭，就用前爪拍拍我的手，一边拍一边叫着：“汪汪，汪汪汪。”它好像在说：“主人，你怎么啦？不要难过嘛。\"我见它那副可爱的样子，不禁破涕为笑。
这就是我的小狗贝格，它贪吃但很会安慰人，我很喜欢它。

《夏目友人帐》主要讲述了男主人公夏目贵志拥有可以看到妖怪的特殊能力。因为父母双亡他的性格较为孤僻，并且由于他具有特殊的能力，他常辗转在于亲戚之间并被同龄人欺负。虽然他经历了许多不幸，但他依旧有好善良没有埋怨任何人。最终他被有好善良的藤原夫妇收养并进入高中。有一天，他被妖怪追赶躲进神社，不小心打破了一只强大妖怪斑的封印。并牵涉到了他祖母夏目玲子的\'遗物—一本同妖怪签订的契约书。之后，这只强大的妖怪平时便变成猫的样子待在夏目身边保护他，但是他的条件是夏目死后要把这本契约书给它。但在此之前夏目决定尽其所能把契约书上的名字还给妖怪们让它们得到自由。由此，一个个温馨、感人、惊险的故事就此展开。
