姨婆在潮湿的水池下发现一只蜗牛。它有着象螺蛳壳一样的灰白色的\'外壳，由于受了惊吓，整个身体躲在壳里。我将菜叶放在离它不远的地方，蹲在那儿耐心地观察着。过了一会儿，蜗牛慢慢伸出两只触角，然后探出头来，最后是身子，一收一缩地向菜叶爬去，一路上留下粘粘的一条线，干了以后闪闪发亮。原来，蜗牛是靠腹部收缩才能向前进的。我把蜗牛放在一条线上，又放在玻璃上，蜗牛都不会掉下来，我知道了蜗牛无论在哪个地方，爬行都不会有任何问题的。
姨婆嫌蜗牛太脏了，拿来一撮盐放在蜗牛身上，一会儿地上出现了一滩水，蜗牛就不动了，原来蜗牛是怕盐的。
