从前有个父亲袋子儿子要去市场卖驴子，驴子走在前头，父子俩随行在后，村里的小姐看了都觉得很可笑。“真傻啊！骑着驴子去多好，却在这沙尘滚滚的路上漫步。”“对啊！说的对啊！”父亲突然觉得很有道理。“孩子，骑上驴子吧！我会跟在旁边，不会让你掉下来的！”父亲让孩子骑在驴子上，自己则跟在旁边走着。这时，对面走来二个父亲的朋友。“喂！喂！让孩子骑驴，自己却徒步，算什么！此刻就这么宠孩子将来还得了！为了孩子的健康，就应叫他走路才对，让他走路，让他走路！”“噢！对呀！是有道理。”于是父亲让孩子下来，自己则骑上驴背。孩子跟在驴子前面，蹒跚的走着。走着走着，碰见一个挤牛奶的女孩。女孩用责备的口吻说：“哎唷！世间竟有这么残酷的父亲，自己轻简单松的骑在驴背上，却让那么小的孩子走路，真可怜。瞧，那孩子多痛苦，东倒西歪地跟在后头，实在可怜啊！”“是啊！你说的有理！”父亲点头赞同。于是，父亲叫孩子也骑到驴背上，朝着市场的方向前进。驴子同时要载两个人，渐渐的举步十分吃力，呼吸急促，角摇摇晃晃的发抖。但是父亲并没有发觉，还轻简单松的哼着歌曲，一边在驴背上摇晃呢！驴子好不容易的走到教堂前，喘了一大口气，休息、休息。教堂前面正站了一位牧师，叫住了他们。“喂！喂！请等一下，让那么弱小的动物在两个人，驴子太可怜了。你们要去那里呢？”“我们正要带这匹驴子去市场卖呀！”“哦！这更有问题。我看你们还没走进市场，驴子就先累死了，恐怕还卖不出去呢！信不信由你。”“那么，该怎样败呢？”“把驴子扛着去吧！”“好！有道理。”父子两立刻从驴背上跳下来，然后把驴子的角绑起来，再用棍子扛着驴子。这样扛着，当然十分重，所以父子两胀红了脸，摇摇晃晃的喊着：“怎样这么重呢！”看见这情景的人都呆住了。“真是奇怪的人啊！”扛着驴子的父子不久走到一座桥上。“孩子，市场快到了，再忍耐一会儿吧！”父亲虽然这么说，但是自己和孩子都已经累的精疲力尽了。驴子毕竟是驴子，被倒吊着反而痛苦得不得了，不但口吐白沫，还粗暴的扭动起来。“嘿！乖一点啊！”父亲严厉的斥骂着，但是驴子不听，扭动的更厉害，结果，棍子啪的一声折断了。绳子也弄断了，驴子倒栽葱似的掉进河里。很不凑巧，雨后河水暴涨，驴子就在那瞬间，被急流吞没，看不见踪影了。“啊！怎样会这样呢？这都是一位听别人的意见，而产生最严重的后果啊！”父子两只好垂头丧气的走回家。

富人有两个女儿，一个死了，便请来些哭丧女为女儿哭丧。另一个女儿对母亲说：“真是不幸!我们有丧事，却不明白怎样尽哀，而她们这些无亲无故的人却能这样悲痛欲绝，嚎啕大哭。”母亲回答说：“好孩子，不要大惊小怪，她们这样嚎啕痛哭，不是出自于内心的悲哀，而是为了金钱装出来的。”这故事说的是那些不惜借别人的不幸来牟取利益的人。

Dear Mrs.Sharp and all my teachers and friends,
I have already been back to China for two weeks. Now I'm working hard to catch up my classmates in Math and Chinese. There are many difference between my Chinese school and Sul Ross Elementary. I just needed 15 to 20 minutes to finish my homework in USA, but in China I need at least 1 to 2 hours to finish my homework.
I really miss America because USA has fresh air and lots of green trees. I turely love all of my teachers and my classmates in Sul Ross. I can always remember the first time when I won our spelling bee for I jumped out of my chair. I will never forget I played tag at the playground with my friends. I also miss my drum group and Mrs.Wright. There were many happiness and surprises in Sul Ross school for me everyday. I miss you Mrs Sharp and classmates, Mrs. Sims, Ms.Strunk, Miss Cox, Ms.Jacks and Mrs. V. Everyone is being so nice to me.
I will keep learning English by reading more books, listening stories and writing. I hope one day I can go to USA and see you again!

I am so excited to hear that you will come to learn Chinese in our school. Now let me tell you something about our school. Our school is the key school of our city with the most beautiful campus. It has many trees, flowers and a lot of grass. We have two very nice and teaching buildings and a dormitory building. In addition, the school is well-equipped with excellent equipment, such as a new gym, a computer room and a large library. There are also a lot of electives to choose from, such as painting, typing and cooking. Above all, there are many excellent teachers in our school. Classes are interesting, the teachers are kind, well-educated and knowledgeable and willing to help students in study as well as in life. I like my school very much. I hope you will like it, too.
