今天是中秋节，爸爸上网给我查了一些关于中秋节的资料，我看到资料上说每年农历八月十五，是一年秋季的中期，所以被称为“中秋”。

八月十五的月亮比其他几个月的满月更圆，更明亮，中秋节又叫做“月夕”、“八月节”。此夜，人们仰望天空如玉如盘的朗朗明月，自然会期盼家人团聚，所以，中秋也称“团圆节”。

爷爷给我讲了中秋吃月饼的来历，在元朝的时候，朱元璋和他的部下已经做好起义的.准备了，但朝廷的官兵查的很严，传递消息很困难。军师刘伯温想出了一个办法，命令属下把“八月十五夜起义”的纸条藏入月饼里，派人把月饼送到每个家里。很快，徐达就攻下了元大都，起义成功了，朱元璋很高兴，将月饼赏给大家。

此后，中秋节吃月饼的习俗便在民间流传下来。

中秋节的晚上，奶奶准备了丰盛的'晚餐，吃完饭后，我们把月饼和柚子搬到阳台上，这时月亮已经升到天空了，奶奶告诉我，吃月饼要看着月亮，这样眼睛会变得更明亮，我们在阳台上一边吃月饼一边赏月。

这个中秋节我学到了很多关于中秋节的知识，这真是个有意义的中秋节。

“You always say that I am naive. In your eyes, I am always the little girl who will never grow up”. This is my favorite song and also the sound from the bottom of my heart. You made me feel so lucky to be your child. But I find our hearts getting further apart as time goes by.

You strictly forbid me to do entertaining activities even if I finished my homework, such as watching TV or playing computer games. Based on this, I couldn’t get any grade less than A. It is said that genius only means hard-working all one’s life. But I think combining exertion is the best way for learning.

The most important thing to me was that I feel frustrated for having few friends to confide in due to your strict rules. I can’t have a play date, participate in a school play or even choose my own extracurricular activities. Who will accept such a boring and troublesome person? I am just an ordinary girl who can’t stand loneliness, so I always feel contradictory.

On the one hand, I’m grateful to have you in my life, to disappoint you was the least I would do. On the other hand, what you asked for me made me felt like a puppet rather than a real person. I appreciated your efforts to pull me away from a self-indulgent life, but your obsessively extravagant strictness has pushed me into an isolated and insensible one. I need a little freedom so that I will concentrate on something I really interested in.

Father and mother, these words were hid in my deep heart for a long time. I love you, and I believe if you change some harsh rules. I will have a wonderful life.

“马虎”就是指办事粗心大意，草草了事，不认真。这里面还有一个血泪斑斑的故事呢！宋朝有个画家，他画什么都是随心所欲。有一次，这画家要画一只老虎。他刚画好虎头，一个人就来了，那个人说；“画家，请你帮我画一匹马吧！”画家就在虎头的下面画了马的'身体。

那个人说：“你画什么呢？”“这本来就是马马虎虎的，这么好的画，送给你了吧！”但是那个人说什么也不要，画家就只好把那幅“马虎图”挂在了自己家的大厅里。这画家的大儿子看到了这幅“马虎图”，但是他不知道那是什么动物。他问画家：爸爸，这幅画里画的是什么呀？画家生气地说：“你怎么这么笨呀，这明明是一只老虎呀！老虎是一种可怕的猛兽，会吃人的，你要是碰到了这种动物，就马上躲起来，要不然就千方百计地把它弄死。”

大儿子深信万分就去了野外。他看到了一匹马，他以为这是老虎，就取出弓箭射死了马。他还说：“哈哈，这样，爸爸就会说我是打虎英雄了！”突然，有人拉住了他，把他拉到画家那里让画家赔了钱。画家画的这幅“马虎图”让自己赔了钱。他正在气头上的时候，二儿子看到了这幅画，就问：“爸爸，这幅画上的是什么呀？”画家说：“你怎么把你哥还笨呀，和你哥说是只老虎，他却射死了马，这就是一匹马。”

二儿子半心半疑地去了山上。他看到一只老虎，以为是马。他还想：“哇，这就是一匹马，听说它能日行千里呢！”他就马上走向“马”去，还没骑上“马”就被老虎给吃了。画家知道了以后，悲痛欲绝，天天以泪洗脸。画家生气地对那幅画说：“你害我赔了钱，还赔了儿子。”他就烧了那幅画。

之后，画家写了这么一首诗：马虎图，马虎图，长子依图射死马，次子依图喂了虎，草堂焚毁马虎图，奉劝诸君别学吾。这就是“马虎”一词的来历，它告诉我们做事千万不能马虎，否则要吃大亏的。

今天，陶俣翎的外公——吴教授给我们上了一课“月满中秋”。

吴教授先跟我们说了中秋节的传说：嫦娥奔月，让我听得非常陶醉、入迷，让我觉得好像是真的一样。接着，吴教授说了中秋节的习俗，比如：观潮、吃田螺、吃月饼、饮桂花酒、燃灯、吃芋头，还一个个给我们解说了，为什么要做这些。

听完讲座，我回到教室，洗好手准备吃月饼，不，没过多久，月饼就做好了，老师切成片后，拿到教室分给我们，分完了还剩下一点，老师给了几个同学，我们眼馋了，一窝蜂地拥在一起抢，可还是有人没抢到，但我们已经满足了。

这一天真令人难忘！

Dear Future Husband,

I'm not yet sure whether you exist, though I'd like to believe that you do. While it may not make much logical sense, you've been on my mind lately. I haven't thought much about what you'll look like, how tall you'll be, or what type of car you'll drive — I'm not too concerned with the minor details. However, I have been thinking about a few things I want you to know.

I want you to know that I am happy — right now — as a single, 26-year-old "millennial" who lives in a small apartment with a roommate and eats Chipotle for dinner more times than I care to admit. I love my job, I love my crazy friends and family, and I love spending quality time alone. I want you to know that my life has purpose apart from and before you. When we do meet one day, I want you to understand that I do not expect you to complete me, or to be my God. That's way too much pressure for anyone to bear. I am already complete.

I want you to know that I am not a trophy. Apparently, a lot of guys think this is a compliment. However, I want you to know that I have no desire to be seen as a trophy — a symbol of your own perceived success. I was not raised just to sit and look pretty on anybody's shelf. I want to have intellectual conversations. I want to help you chase your dreams. I want to be your partner, not your prize.
