来伦敦夏令营第六天了,最让我震撼的不是他们建筑的风格跟我们完全不同,也不是城市人口的多样性,而是他们的阅读情结,用“随时随地阅读”来概括应该是比较恰当的。
不管哪里,你都会看到很多人,拿着一本书,心无旁鹜地看着。在移动网络高度发达的今天,很多人会离不开手机,哪怕一分钟。然而伦敦的人,仍钟情于书香墨迹。
去咖啡厅,有悠闲聊天的,也一定会有,点一杯咖啡,然后津津有味看着书的。早晨的公园,有跑步,散步的人们,但也少不了看书看报纸的人。
最让我吃惊的是地铁上的所见。因为每天上学放学都要搭地铁,那个时间段都是高峰期,挤得跟果酱似的。有一次,远远看到有个小伙子右手抓着头顶的把手,指缝里夹着一支笔,左手举得高高的,微仰着头看书。要知道,伦敦的地铁是没有空调的,又闷又热,我站在那里已经冒汗,心里也烦躁。但这些根本影响不了他们阅读。我也看到,一位50多岁,很绅士的伯伯,手里拿着一把伞,一本书上车,等他站稳了,马上翻开书看起来。在那一瞬间,我仿佛觉得自己回到了电影里的复古年代。
伦敦经常下雨,伞是他们的标配,但我想,书对于他们同样是标配。想想自己有时候坐在书桌前都无法静心看书,真是惭愧!
都说“书到用时方恨少,事非经过不知难。”希望我们也能养成爱阅读的好习惯!徜徉在书香的世界里。
