今天我们去音乐厅观看了电影《驭龙高手》。
它是讲很久以前龙的部落和维京海盗部落经常互相攻打。一天，一个维京小男孩在林子里发现了一只龙，他本来想刺死它，但是他发现龙受了伤不能飞了，这可怎么办呢？于是他用纸制作了一个东西安装在了他的尾巴上，结果龙飞了起来。后来，小男孩驯服了那条龙，并把那条龙起名叫无牙。他们齐心协力打败了残暴的龙大王，维京人也和龙成了好朋友，那个男孩成了大英雄，他就是小嗝嗝。
我觉得小嗝嗝很勇敢、很善良。他用他的.善良之心把凶猛的夜煞驯服成温顺的龙，并帮助了维京人。要是没有残暴的龙大王，人是可以和龙做朋友的，是可以和平共处的。
不管是人还是动物只要有善良之心，就不会有战争存在。

A review of the Pursuit of Happiness
“The Pursuit of Happyness” was released on the 15th of December 2006. It is a dramatic story based on a biography of Chris Gardner’s nearly one-year struggle with homelessness. Directed by Gabrielle Muccino, the film stars Will Smith as Chris Gardner, and co-stars Jaden Smith playing Chris’ son, Christopher Jr. For Will Smith’s performance in the film, he was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Actor. The ‘different’ spelling of the title, ‘Happyness’ is seen by Chris Gardner on the building outside the play centre is son attends, which Chris reminds the owners of the building multiple times that it is spelt with an ‘I’.
The film shows us the struggles Chris Gardner has with homelessness. He is bankrupt because he invested his life savings in portable bone-density scanners, which he thought hospitals would be interested in buying, but in the end hardly any doctors wanted one, as they considered it an ‘expensive luxury’. During the struggles, his wife Linda leaves to go to New York and Chris and his son are left in San Francisco with no income and living in a motel. Chris sees interest in become a stockbroker, but to become one he has to go through an internship. Meanwhile, Chris and his son are evicted because they can’t pay rent, and they are forced to go to a homeless shelter, and even one night had to sleep in the bathroom of the underground rail system. During his internship, he never once mentions his financial struggles and at one point he is asked to give one of his bosses 5 dollars for a cab, a sum that he can’t afford. After an intense six months, Chris is taken into the bosses’ office, and is offered a job as a stockbroker, the final scene shows him being in unbelief of the position he was offered and showing his happiness and gratefulness for the opportunity, Chris realises that his financial struggles are over as he now has a job with a regular income.
Christ was unfortunate, for he got a wife who was not understandable at all (though she has her own difficulties and was in bad luck with his business. But he was very fortunate also, for he got a son who was very thoughtful and, I think, tough life experiences always make a great person. It is said that this movie is inspired by a true story, and I want to say, this movie does inspire me a lot. What impressed me most are: Christ’s wife left him because of life pressure; Christ’s love to his son and Christ’s strong belief towards life. Through these, I know that it is not easy to be a good husband and a good Papa, since in reality, only love cannot only make everything. And I also learn that one has to strongly believe in himself, no matter how difficult the situation is, but of course, hard-working is indispensable.

今晚再看一遍《美女也野兽》，忽然从其中看出与基耶斯洛夫斯基的《白》有几分类似的主题——平等：如果粗鲁的王子不曾因没有爱心而被惩罚，变成野兽，那么，他可能爱上贝尔么?他们可能在一起吗?
粗鲁的王子，即使他从来不懂得善待他人，也不懂爱为何物，他仍旧有骄傲的理由——他是一个华贵显赫的王子。
可是温柔的野兽，即使他再绅士，心中充满爱，他仍然有自卑的理由——他是一只外表丑陋的野兽。
而与此相对，贝尔的身份是不变的——一个美丽善良怀抱梦想的贫家女。
然而我们可以大胆假设一点，如果王子不曾被施魔法，那么，即使贝尔再美丽再善良，王子未必会爱上她——因为我们的前提是粗鲁的王子根本不懂得什么是爱。
但是在他身份垂直下降，直到变为一只面目狰狞的怪兽的时候，他却能够以一种低姿态，甚至自卑的姿势，来欣赏一个过去可能连见他的面也不配的贫家女——而此时她正是他的救世主。
基氏电影《白》也是如此。在电影的开头，由于生理障碍，世俗的天枰和双方心理的天枰都明显偏向于女主角。
但是随着情节发展，男主角像胡汉三一样又回来了，而且还带回了显赫的资产，过去的生理障碍也一并消失，重振雄风。
此时的天枰转换了方向，慢慢向男主角倾斜。就连曾经绝情离开他的女主角，也重新爱上了他。
虽然在电影《白》中，这是一次人为的精巧的报复，但是和《美女与野兽》一样，它告诉了我们一个古老的真理：爱情并不是基于无有凭空产生的，爱情中，掺杂着太多复杂的现实因素，有关身份的悬殊，有关财富的多少，有关身体健康与否，有关相貌美丑。
换句话说，门当户对是古老智慧的结晶，它仍然能够用于指导现代生活，并且在人类本性发生扭转之前绝不过时。门当户对的婚姻和爱情实在是一种理想状态，是一种双赢的结合。
所以，与其说，是美丽的贝尔使得王子懂得了爱，变得温柔仁慈和绅士了，不如说是天枰的倾斜使得粗鲁的王子变得温柔谦卑——当然，美女的力量也不容否定，只是，这影响实在不足以使一个人转变本性。
同样讨论此主题的电影，还有金基德的《坏小子》，那是另一个貌似诡异离奇但又完全符合实际逻辑的世界。
对此主题浅显的理解到此为止，以后若有再加补充。

The manner in which TV series in the UK are aired can be highly frustrating at times. Sometimes you only get three episodes of a show and then nothing else for a couple of years.

I’ve always enjoyed TV series and movies that make people think. Black Mirror is undoubtedly a thought-provoking experiment and a refreshing change from other programs on the schedule.

When I was a freshman in college I watched the film Gua Sha Treatment for the first time, now I am a junior student and I come back to review the movie from a multicultural aspect, I have many different feelings after watching the film again.
At the beginning of the film, XuDatong is given an award and later he delivers a speech. What makes me impressed most is in his speech he says “one day I will become one of you, a truly successful American, today this award proved that America is a true land of opportunity and I am the living proof of that.” At that moment Xu thinks he has realized his American Dream totally with his lovingly wife and adorable son. However, I think it is ironical that to make a speech like that and I assume it is made on purpose to hind a clue for the story\'s development. How many non—American people have such a beautiful American dream? One of my classmate studies in American now and before he went aboard he told me his American dream is he can stand at the top of the New York. To be honest, I also dream that one day I can get the Green Card living there happily and successfully maybe working at the Wall Street. When Xu gets the award he thinks he entirely melted in the melting pot neglecting the multicultural obstruct, later the plot goes against the way he thinks. And later Quinlan asked Xu\'why you be the scapegoat of your father?\' Xu answers \'because he is Chinese.\' Then maybe Xu knows that there is always a wide gap between Chinese and American cultures.
The second scene is Xu hit his son Denis because Denis hit the son of xu\'s boss, at the middle of the film xu tells his boss that he hit his own son is only to show his respect to his boss John Quinlan, that time Quinlan feels puzzled “what a Chinese logic”,yes, American can never understand such a logic full of Chinese characteristic, because they respect everyone including the children, they won\'t beat a child to please the boss, and there is no such a conception of degree between employee and employer, they feel everyone is equal, which is quite different from china.
Connected to the second scene, the third difference I want to analyze is the care for the children. In America, people pay more attention to the right of children which can be seen from the law—leaving children alone at home is illegal, while in China it is so common that almost everyone may experience such loneliness. And Children Welfare Agency does work in America which shows the importance Americans attach to children\'s right. What\'s more, I remember a line \'No one won the case, especially the child.\' In my opinion, it also manifests the universal concern from the American public to the children.
The fourth aspect is following the procedure, in the film, more than there times, the people focus on the rule, the law, the procedure. At the Christmas Eve Xu wants to return back to his home pretending as a Santa Claus, what a pity, the security recognizes him and persuades \'you are always a good tenement, never causes troubles for me.\' And another scene is at the end of the film , the judge says \'I have to follow the procedure.\' However, in China people always have to ask for a favor to do something, and later you have to pay back the favor,for myself, I prefer the American style, strict to the procedure.
The fifth and the last point is the humors, Quinlan says \'you can\'t fall, your health security is the company paid.\' \'Datong, welcome home, maybe next time, you can come from the front door.\' \'dady, why you come from the window\' \' because we don\'t have a chimney.\' I really adore this distinguished American humor, especially in dangerous situations, which is quite rare in China.
That\'s my whole reaction to Gua Sha Treatment.
