st summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are lots and lots of visitors.Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests. There are all kinds of strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls, double-edged swords, mice,
elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.
I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs through the whole city. If you go along the river, you'll never get lost. There are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.
I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.
The trip to Yunnan impressed me GREatly. I will never forget it.

今天，我们五年级段组织去平阳县综合实验基地，我们五年级的同学被分成了七个班，我与我们班的一部分同学在六班。到了出发的当天，同学们在老师的带领下兴高采烈地出发了。
过了十几分钟，我们到了。一进基地大门，就看见早到的同学已经在哪里玩的不亦乐乎，有的同学在走惊险刺激的“空中吊桥”；有的同学在钻好玩有趣的“时空隧道”；有的同学在爬“勇攀高峰”争的第一……
第一节课是“武术南拳”，是我们五年级段一起学。老师教我们“蹲马步”、“大鹏展翅”、“猛虎坐山”和“打狗棒法”让我们累的够呛，然后老师给我们表演了精彩的武术，看得我们直鼓掌。
第二节课是“人防教育”。我们随着陈老师(人防教育的老师进入了人防教育的内部，人防教育被分成了四个板块。第一块：消防教育，陈老师告诉我们了很多的消防知识；第二块：陆地战机——坦克，陈老师告诉我们世界上防御力最强，攻击力最强的'坦克是美国的M1a2sep坦克，全车重有67吨，全长有9。8米，时速是67千米，主炮是120毫米滑膛炮；第三块：体验地震的感觉，陈老师带我们去了22。5度的倾斜屋，进了倾斜屋之后会感到头晕晕的；第四块：踩高跷，陈老师问我们：要是我们前面是一条毒河，我们的皮肤要是接触到了毒河里的水就会被腐蚀，我们该怎么办？我们想了一会也没有想到办法，陈老师拿出了高跷给我们每三个人一副，让我们自己学。
中午我们吃完午饭之后，看了《十二生肖》电影。
我们看完《十二生肖》电影之后，开始了第三节课——制作风铃。制作风铃的材料有铜管、管钳、小钢锯、电动手摇钻、剖线刀片、镀锌钢丝、玻璃扁珠、皮条或皮筋，老师早就帮我们准备好了，老师先跟我们讲解了一下制作风铃的过程，就让我们做了起来。我先将管钳或钢锯将长铜管切成7根长短不同的铜管，然后用钳子剪下一段电镀钢丝，长度为设计好的钢圈周长，将钢丝弯成钢圈，多余的部分折成第二圈。把六对扁形玻璃珠穿上钢圈，将钢圈修整成圆环，这样玻璃珠就能在上面滚动了，最后剪一截短皮条，一头穿过一支铜管的两个孔后打一个结，另一头系在圆环上的一对玻璃珠之间，使铜管与圆环相连。继续用针将皮条穿缝在其它五个珠子之间，同时系上其它5根铜管。将皮条一头穿过一对玻璃珠，做成风铃的悬挂端，另一头系上最长的铜管。安上装饰品，将六根系铜管的皮条与系最长铜管的皮条一头拧在一起，悬挂起来，就大功告成了。到了3：40我们乘着公交车回到了学校。过了一会儿，我就回到了家，我把自己亲手做的风铃挂在了家里最显眼的地方。

I'm writing to tell you about the discussion we've had on whether the school should organize a spring outing for the students.
Opinions on the question are pided as follows:70% of the students think that the school should organize the spring outing. They believe that the spring outing can make them enjoy the nature's beautiful scenery, which can broaden our vision and fill us with more knowledge. They also say that the air in the open fields is fresher. What's more, fresh air does a lot of good to our health.
On the other hand,30% don't like the idea of going out for a spring outing. In their opinions, time is very precious, so they have to grasp every minute to work hard at their lessons. Traveling costs a lot. In that case, it will add to their families' burden. Above all, no one can be sure of the safety of every student.

But Chinese people have a bad habit, they like to leave some notes on the site, proving them have been here before. Such a behavior has been criticized by the public, because the leaving note will damage the preservation of the tourist site. Most of the tourist sites are part of our country's historical relics, these sites are priceless, it is everyone's duty to protect the sites. When we go to travel, we should behave ourselves. First, we need to have the idea that no rubbish being leaved behind when we leave the site. We should take away what we bring, keep the environment clean. Second, no any notes being written in the sites. Though in the old days, Chinese workers like to leave their names on the sites, but now it is a new world, we need to behave ourselves.

I also went to the XinDongfang square, it was a very big shopping mall, it took me about half an hour to walk between two doors. I can saw many famous brands: Cucci, Chanel, Rolex, Seiko, even the new Audi cars. It made me really want to stay in Beijing .The third day I visited the Tian’anmen Square, and it’s very beautiful. And the Chang’an Ave is wide ,straight and clean. The forth day, I went to the Forbidden City. It made me felt the emperor ’ s royal mausoleum was very luxury. The fifth day I went to the Summer Palace, I went boating there. The sixth day, I visited the Great Wall, it’s very terrific, this great architectural complex told us how clever the Chinese people are !
