我是运河博物馆的馆长，又到了一年一度的国庆节，伴随着节日的气息，就让我来带领大家沿着运河边游览，感受运河之美吧。
金秋十月，河边的桂花早已耐不住寂寞，竞相开放，给这清新的空气增添了几分浓香。柔长的柳枝拨动着千年长河。两侧的树木映衬着河水，仿佛与河中的小鱼打趣。让我们怀着欣喜的心情坐上游船，开始了我们的环河旅行。
船在水中缓缓前进，时不时激起一朵朵浪花，惊醒了运河边那些可爱的小动物们。海鸟在身边打转儿，小鱼儿在水中转圈儿，偶尔有一两只调皮的小麻雀打闹着掠过水面，漾起了小涟漪。运河边的景致实在是美丽。
船继续向前缓缓行驶，来到了“大关桥”，“关”字当头，就充分体现出了它的来头不小。大关原名小河关口，南宋时杭城九兄弟在这里率众抗击金兵，保卫了城市，小河关口从此得名“大关”。只见青石为栏，戟为灯，高高的望柱像威武的.武士伫立在桥头，桥身刻有双龙戏珠的式样，传说乾隆皇帝下江南时就曾到过此处。大关桥的沉稳、厚重，还体现在桥梁的大量色彩搭配上。青灰色的桥身，白紫色的地面石板，整体清雅，但并不单调，便增添了几分庄严肃穆的气氛。
最后，我们陆续参观了许多运河古桥，它不仅是两岸的载体，也是记录长河演进的历史节点，它带着我们前进，为我们打开一扇扇神秘的“历史之门……
