太阳一天升起，一天落下。人们也就一天工作，一天休息。于是，通过一日一日的积累，事物发生了变化。其中的这个过程的变化被我们称作时间。万物之理——时间可贵。但流逝的时间不是我们吗？我们在变化过程中经过了改变，所有事物都是一样。
时间，只是我们定义的名词，真正的时间就发生在我们身上。这样来说，我们是变化的，时间是永恒的。可以说，时间包括万物，就算宇宙消失，时间依然存在。时间被定义为第四维。三维是附着在四维上的，是四维的`一部分，是四维的表现。我们人类所追求的长寿，也就是三维上的延长。时间不同，它是一种虚无质的东西，我们能表现它，却不能感受它或是察觉。不得不说，我们的思想精神就有时间的特性。思维由什么产生，在哪里呈现？想象力就是我们人类所特有的。
我们可以说是处于三维之上又不绝对的四维生物。那么说，我们不绝对的四维生物和绝对四维生物的区别是，我们可以流逝变化，而他们却是永恒的。我们的身体是由三维构成的，精神层次上有四维的特性。所以，我们三维的科学不能解释或去理解四维方面的东西。三维三个不同层次的维，四维也包含着它所特有的。解决问题则需要新的思想。时间，简单的一次，现对于我们来说，至少是现在我们所不能理解的，在物质方面，相对于精神上也要有所探究。
