走在放学的路上，随便就可以看见长沙创建文明城市的作用很大。以前马路两旁停满了小汽车，那个路段常常塞车，汽车的轰鸣声和喇叭声响成一片，给附近的居民造成了很多困扰。自从创建文明城市以来，马路两旁没有一台碍事的小汽车，狭窄的马路变得宽敞了许多，“吵闹”的马路变得“安静”了许多。我问爸爸这是为什么，爸爸说：“这就是创建文明城市的成效。我想：创建文明城市的作用真是太大了。
再看道路两旁垃圾桶多了。地上的垃圾变少了，人们不会找不到垃圾桶而到处扔垃圾了。以前要走很远才能看见一个垃圾桶，而且垃圾桶破烂不堪。屈指可数的垃圾桶现在变多了。而且形状各异，有的像小房子，有的有两个色彩艳丽的大桶子，一个是“可回收”，一个是“不可回收”。我想：创建文明城市可真到位，连垃圾桶都“改头换面”了。
农贸市场变干净漂亮了，以前大家买菜的地方都很脏，让人一买完菜二话不说就走了出去。现在苍蝇、烂菜叶少了，买菜的人停留时间长了。大家的文明用语多了；短斤少两的摊贩少了；旧楼房少了，新楼房多了……
总之随着“创建文明城市”的不断开展，长沙将会变得越来越美丽。如今它就像祖国的一颗亮丽的明珠绽放着耀眼的光芒。

The two pictures show some problems in the present education system in China. In the poor countryside, especially in some western parts of China, the education is also poor.
