I know you are fond of swimming. A river lies not far away from my home. We can go swimming there. I think it would be very pleasant and refreshing to swim in such hot summer days. In every big room of my home there is an air-conditioner. We can watch TV, play CDs or read books very comfortably at home.
A mountain about two miles away from here is beautiful and it is worth touring. We can go there on foot. When we climb to the top of the mountain, we can have a wonderful bird-eye view of the whole village. Just phone me before you set off. There is no need for you to take anything. Ill prepare everything for you.

今天上午，我在火炬学校参加了青少年英语比赛，我怀着紧张的心情，走进了考场。
比赛之前，监考老师讲完规则后，每人发了三张试卷，其中一张答题卡，两张题目，铃声一响，比赛正式开始。
环节一：听力和默写。考生们纷纷拿出笔，做好了听写准备，监考老师在上面报单词，每个报两遍，考生在下面默写，过十几秒继续下一个单词。考生们都聚精会神在下面听和写，一个字也不说，安静得连考生的呼吸声都能听见，时间过得很快，不一会儿第一环节结束了。
环节二：笔试。第一题是选则题，我觉得比较简单，紧张的心情稍稍放松了一些。轻松的答题，很快便答完了。第二题是根据已知的问句用英语写答句，我看了很久，有点懵了，因为问句我看都看不懂，又没人问，根本做不出，结束铃声响了，到最后不得已放弃。
我真希望这次比赛能取得好成绩!

Dear friend,
If you want to learn English well ,I can give you some advice.
First,you should spend a lot of time to practise your English. Such as listening English songs on the radio,speaking English to your classmate,reading English newspaper and writing English positions.
Then you should try to listen carefully in your English lessons.You should be brave to talk with the foreigners.You should read a lot and practise your writing skills.
