不幸，遇到了沙尘暴。一连数日，狂风肆虐，黄沙漫天，连丰富的骆驼也辨不清方向了。国王被困在了沙漠深处。
食物吃完了，水喝光了。国王全身皮肤龟裂，嘴唇布满血丝，眼看就要不行了。
“上帝呀，谁能救我出去，我愿意拱手让出整个王国！”国王在心底祈祷。
“陛下，有一个办法可以试一试，或许能帮你渡过难关。”骆驼说。
“快说！什么办法？”
“喝我的尿液吧！虽然腥臊无比，难以下Ⅱ因，却可以救你的命！”
国王喝着骆驼的尿液坚持下来。沙尘暴停了，他们走出沙漠，走出了死亡之地。
国王重返王宫的第一件事，就下令犒赏骆驼，给它住最好的房，吃最好的'食。
国王又过上了锦衣玉食的生活。可是不知怎么回事，每当他喝着美酒，吃着佳肴，嘴里就泛起骆驼尿的腥臊味儿。
终于有一天，国王实在忍耐不下去了，他捶着桌子大声骂道：
“我贵为国王，怎能忍受这样的侮辱？那个，竟然让我喝它的尿！”
国王下令把骆驼送到了屠宰场。
