在英语村里，模拟了现实生活中的四个场景——“城市馆”、“自然馆”、“生活馆”和“商业馆”，四个场馆中的部分物品和布景都是实物，每个场馆又被分成几个场景，外教和中教轮流授课，我们这次可真是与英语世界来了个亲密接触。在全英语的语言环境和实物情境下，我们对学习英语的兴趣变得前所未有的高涨。就比如说在城市馆里吧，刚进城市馆，一个美丽的大都市——上海的模型立刻呈现在我们的面前，那一个个地标性建筑物的模型，在镭射灯光的映衬下是显得格外的雄伟壮丽，你甚至猜想不到的是在城市馆里居然会有一节能移动的地铁车厢，在最后一节课中，老师终于带着我们“乘坐”了一次地铁，这“地铁”中，老师不停的作者令人捧腹的`动作，使得大家都争先恐后的想“乘坐”一次平时已经坐得习以为常的地铁。每当外教拉开悬挂的粉红色幕布时，或旋转布景板进行场景切换时，我们都会发出声声惊叹，因为，我们以前从来没有这样学习过英语。在商业馆的超市里，甚至可以看到真实的收银机等等实物，我们真实地体验着用英语对话来购物的整个流程，我们扮演着不同的角色，来学习这个角色所要说得话；在生活馆里，老师会用英语生动地为我们介绍各式厨具用品，并且还和我们做游戏，让我们在游戏当中来巩固与加深你对这个英语单词的印象，如果你读得好的话，老师会和你拍手，表示鼓励；在自然馆中，我们仿佛亲身来到了大自然中，有热带雨林，有北极，海洋，在教室的墙上还贴着国家的地图和标着英语单词的国旗名称，在自然馆中最有趣的还是要数在进门时有一座假山，不高的假山上悬挂着一个吊绳，仿佛可以真的用来攀岩一般。我们不时为老师们幽默、生动的语言、表情和肢体动作爆发出阵阵笑声，为同学的精彩表现鼓掌加油。
通过这次活动，让我们在现实生活中快乐的学习了一次英语，也然我的英语水平提高了不少，希望以后这样的实践活动多一些，能够我们丰富我们的课外生活。我期待着有更多的同学能来到这个英语村里来，让他们也体验到更多学习英语的快乐！

I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we have had about whether an entrance fee should be charged for parks. 60% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee do not meet people’s expectations, for a park is considered to be a place where the public can have a good time when they are not busy either at home or at work. If an entrance fee must be paid by the visitors for a park, it will be necessary to build a gate and surrounding walls. In the end a city will take on a bad look. 40% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee can be accepted, but it must not be too expensive. The money from ticket selling can be used for paying the gardeners in the park and buying some other kinds of flowers and trees.
With regard to myself, I think an entrance fee is useful, for it can be used to protect a park. Do we share the same opinion, dear editor?

阅读文字“一目十行”固然是减少了时间，但也容易忽略细节，甚至读完一篇文章后可能都不知道作者究竟在说什么，倘若如此，还算什么阅读呢？阅读需要慢行，生活更需要脚踏实地，否则也只是浪费时间浪费生命罢了。
曾见有人一手画方一手画圆，以此来练习所谓三心二意，而然最终却是方不像方圆不是圆。同样的道理，若想要在同一时间内做两件并不相关的事，比如一边看电视一边写作业，虽然想的是要节省时间，但最终也只能是两样都耽误，恐怕是电视上演的什么也没看进去，作业也写得乱七八糟。所以，一心一意才是做好一件事的决定性因素。
当你走到一个岔路口，你会选择两条路都走吗？这显然是不实际的，一样的道理，我们不可能把自己的大脑一刀劈成两半来同时做两件事。就算是拥有着超乎常人智商的爱因斯坦，不也是一生只致力于高深的物理这一门专业吗？更何况是普通人的我们，所以，不要太高估自己的力量，选好方向再前进吧。
自文艺复兴以来，一幅《蒙娜丽莎》惊艳了古今多少人的心神，也是达芬奇耗时三年多才完成的一幅作品，如果速度真的有那么重要，这位天才又怎会甘心将自己宝贵的三年光阴都献给这一幅作品？显然不是这样的，比起画的`时间，达芬奇更看重的是画的质量，因此，《蒙娜丽莎》迷人的微笑才得以在历史的洗礼下闪耀光芒。
似乎每一位成功的画家都会有这样的态度。阿道夫·冯·门采尔曾对问他“为什么我用一天画出来的画却需要用一年才能卖出去”的青年画者说：“你可以试着用一年去画一幅画，我相信你可以只用一天就把它卖出去。”画的时间并不能代表画的质量，但这却可以反映一种对待画的态度，认真对待它，一心一意地去做，才能真正做好，做成功！否则，做了也白做。
为了一时多用把多件事堆到一起做，然后又把剩余的时间再“一时多用”，可三心二意往往是顾此失彼，那么节省了时间又能怎样呢？况且，原本能把事情很好地解决，实际上为了所谓的高效却把事情搞砸，这样的“高效”还能叫做高效吗？速度也许上去了，但质量却大打折扣，这时，效率就会向着负无穷发展了！试问，这样的人生，有什么意义呢？
在当今时代，一切都向着信息化、高速化趋势发展，但发展的基础是要保证质量只高不低，所以，别让看电视影响了你阅读名著的质量，别让网上冲浪影响了你欣赏音乐的质量，别走的太快，等等你的灵魂。
