近来读《梁启超家书》，感触颇深。这本书上接《曾国藩家书》，下启《傅雷家书》，是传统家教与现代家教结合的典范。
之前对于梁启超的认识和了解仅仅限于近代的变法革新运动“公车上书”，在讲授这课时也仅仅浮于表面，没有深入关注他。慈溪太后戊戌政变后，戊戌六君子被***害，梁启超之后开始流亡日本，之后的事大略了解了一些，对这个人物并不深入了解，在我的印象中似乎他只是一个政治标签，看了这本书才有了更深入的了解，他是一位非常了不起的人物，一位百科全书式的人物，他忧国忧民，勤奋著书的同时，还十分注重对下一代的教育，从自己的社会际遇和阅历出发，以独特的教育方法将自己的学识和感悟润泽在儿女上，使九个子女各有所成，堪称中国家庭教育的开楷模。
在9个成年的子女个个成才，其中三人当选院士。长女思顺，诗词研究专家、曾任中央文史馆馆长;长子思成，著名建筑学家、中科院院士;次子思永，著名考古学家、中央研究院院士;三子思忠，西点军校毕业，参与淞沪抗战;次女思庄，著名图书馆学家;四子思达，著名经济学家;三女思懿，曾任中国红十字会对外联络部主任;四女思宁，早年就读南开大学，后参加革命;五子思礼，火箭控制系统专家、中科院院士。
与成绩相比，他更关注孩子的的'心性、志趣、健康、幸福。梁启超教育子女褒多于贬，以鼓励为主，尤其强调生活的趣味。在《学问之趣味》一文中梁启超说：“凡人必常常生活于趣味之中，生活才有价值。若哭丧着脸捱过几十年，那么生命便成为沙漠，要来何用?”他写信告诫在美国留学的梁思成：“我怕你因所学太专门之故，把生活也弄成近于单调，太单调的生活容易厌倦，厌倦即为苦恼，乃至堕落之根源。”
在指点孩子如何做学问上，梁启超反复强调学习要“求理解”，不要“强记”，且要劳逸结合，“多游戏运动”，尤其注重心性的养成，“总要常常保持着元气淋漓的气象，才有前途事业之可言”。事实上，相对学业，梁启超更关心孩子们的身体。在梁启超的父爱里，只有子女，没有自己。他对孩子的任何帮扶劝导都是以对方的终身幸福为考虑的，正因如此，在他看来，学业成就，远不如心性、志趣、健康、幸福重要。从这一点来说，他是一位伟大的父亲。
