谁都知道仙人掌没有花香，没有花美，还很扎手，所以不太受人们的欢迎。但是，仙人掌顽强的生命力，却教会了我做事情要坚持不懈。
一次，我因为一些原因，导致一个星期也没有给仙人掌浇水，刚好这几天又是艳阳高照，连一滴雨也没有下。我心想:这下仙人掌可完了，它一定死了。所以，第二天一大早，我就连忙提着水壶来给仙人掌浇水。可是，眼前的景象却让我惊呆了，仙人掌依旧是那样的生机勃勃！翠绿色的仙人掌，一片接着一片，竟然还在头顶上长出了两个花骨朵！这两个花骨朵长着黄色的花瓣。虽然现在看不出什么，但我想它开花时一定很漂亮。一个星期的干旱，居然对它没有任何的影响。它好像在对我说：“看，我多顽强！”
看着这盆仙人掌，我真是自愧不如。从星期一到星期日，每天我都得弹一小时钢琴。就这样，我坚持了两年。但到了今年时，老师布置的一首曲子难住了我。我原本是一个星期去上一次钢琴课，但是，这首曲子我连着弹了三个星期也没弹会，我开始退缩了。每次弹琴时我都心不在焉。心想：反正曲子这么难，弹也弹不会，还不如不弹了。为了保险起见，不被发现，我仍时不时地弹一会儿，但弹的都不是老师布置的'曲子。就这样过了两三天，直到我再次看见了这盆仙人掌，这时，花儿已经开了。从此以后，我每天认真地弹这首曲子，终于在三天后攻克了这道难关。
这就是我和仙人掌的差异。所以，干什么事情都要有恒心，要坚持不懈。我要向仙人掌学习！

我想每个人都会向往于自己喜欢且很好的学校，但人与人之间的能力有限的，像我只有在一中读书的份，我们应顺其自然，俗话说：既来之，则安之。但似乎我们经常会在耳边听到：二中这里好，那里好。这让我常会感到一种自卑感，由此也会有一种念想：为什么二中学生会比一中学生好？为什么三年之后，他们各个都可去读自己心中理想的大学，都是人嘛？我觉得这其中一定有一中学生与二中学习之间的一种决定性的因素。可能是由于内心的不解，我终于有一天跨进了这个我只能是梦的学校，来到学校中我就觉得二中校园中有一种不知名的寂静，即便是下课却也是静得出奇，走过一间间的教室门前，从里面传出的是一种讨论声而不是吵闹声，原本在我看来他们的好的成绩来源于好的教育，和他们好的天赋，但让我大吃一惊的是他们之所以及能取得好成绩更重要的来源于他们的勤奋与刻苦的精神，而且我还注意到越是那些从乡下来的学生，更是努力。
我想人与人之间的差异，也就如学校与学校间的差异，仅是相关一种勤奋刻苦的精神，其实我们都可以达到彼岸的，仅需要一种勤奋刻苦的精神罢了。
在人生道路中我们只要努力拼搏，发扬勤奋刻苦的精神，无论在何时何地都能发光！

做人和画画一样，我们彼此要尊重差异。就拿我们班来说吧，人人性格不同，有的暴躁，有的冷静，有的胆小，有的张扬，但是我们构成的这个班级，却十分和谐。为什么呢？因为我们彼此共同生活了五年，虽然在低年级的时候有很多的磕磕绊绊、吵吵闹闹，但同学们在这种吵闹中，越来越懂得互相谦让，彼此尊重。因为大家深知，如果不能尊重别人和自己的差异，这个班集体就会变得混乱不堪。比如说，我同桌是个马虎的人，经常不小心拿错我的学习用具，如果我不能正确理解他的性格，就会认为他总是故意刁难我，和我过不去，那就乱了。
那么怎么尊重差异呢？人和人的相处，贵在包容。我们要真正怀有一颗包容的心，去了解别人、适应别人，尊重别人不同的想法。只有这样，彼此相处的空间才会扩大。简单地说，站在别人的出发点上去理解他为什么这么说，为什么这么做，这就是尊重差异，实现和谐。
但是，和谐也是有选择的。包容多样，并不是让我们无原则地迎合一些低级趣味。我们当然不能和小偷、强盗这些坏人打成一片。这和尊重差异有着本质上的区别。
