也许有人会认为：只要有知识，有耐心，就能够深入研究问题，找到真理。其实，这样是不够的。
有知识，只是作为与权威斗争的基础，更需要的，是挑战权威的胆量和为科学、为真理的献身精神。伽利略做斜塔实验时，有成千上万人围观，都想看看这个不知天高地厚、敢于亚里士多德的观点对立的的小鬼出丑，因此，一旦他失败了，就会处处遭人冷落、笑话;哥白尼提出“日心说”与基督教的“地心说”相背而驰，产生巨大的'矛盾，导致教皇大怒，诬陷哥白尼，把哥白尼送上了火场;达尔文提出发表《进化论》之后，更是处处遭人排挤。但他们，却没有因此退缩，反而把挫折当垫脚石，使他们的这些观点在百年后成为了人尽皆知的真理。
由此可见，一个小小的“?”，不仅包含着对事物刨根问底的精神，还包括着一份挑战权威的胆量，追求真理的执着。
发现问题，需要好奇心;研究问题，需要足够的知识和耐心;实践它，则需要胆量与执着。
