庄子散文中有一则支离疏的故事。
南方楚国有一个人叫支离疏,他的形体是造物主的一个杰作或者说是造物主在心情愉快时开的玩笑,脖子像丝瓜,脑袋形似葫芦,头垂到肚子上而双肩高耸超过头顶,颈后的发髻蓬蓬松松似雀巢,背驼得两肋几乎同大腿并列,好一个支支离离、疏疏散散的“美人”坯子!
支离疏却暗自庆幸,感谢上苍独钟于他,平日里乐天知命,舒心顺意,日高尚卧,无拘无束,替人缝衣洗服、簸米筛糠,足以糊口度日,当君王准备打仗,在国内强行征兵时,青壮汉子如惊弓之鸟,四散逃入山中。而支离疏呢,偏偏耸肩晃脑去看热闹,他这副尊容谁要呢,所以他才那样大胆放肆。
当楚王大兴土木,准备建造王宫而摊派差役时,庶民百姓不堪***扰,而支离疏却因形体不全而免去了劳役。每逢寒冬腊月官府开仓赈贫时,支离疏却欣然前去领到三盅小米和十捆粗柴,仍然不愁吃不愁穿。
第一次看这篇文章的时候,我就想起了我国古代“塞翁失马”的成语故事。因为它们都阐述了“福兮,祸之所伏;祸兮,福之所倚”的生活哲理。
据说一位中国女士去澳洲看望女儿,飞机飞到太平洋上空时,预报员突然说:“飞机出了故障,乘客请做好自救准备。”于是机舱里一片慌乱,有哭叫的,有咒骂的,有祈祷上天保佑的,有的甚至开始写遗书。而那位母亲迅速套上救护衣后仍平静地坐在位置上,脸上显得那样宁静与安详。过了一会儿,工作人员又告诉大家,故障已经排除。有惊无险,大家又激动得一片混乱,而那位母亲仍一脸平静地坐在那里,一片坦然。事后有人问:“面对死亡即将到来的时候,您怎么能显得如此平静?”那位女士平静地说:“这有什么可惊慌的呢,如果平安到达我可以看到我的女儿,若飞机失事,我可以在九泉之下见到我的母亲。如果保持内心平静,逃生的希望也大得多。”
其实,这就是一种心态而已。生命的征途中,爱与恨、得与失、贫穷与富有、成功与失败等在所难免。重要的是我们面对这一切,能“不以物喜,不以己悲”,得意而不忘形,失意也不沮丧。如此,我们才能活得健康惬意、从容大度。
