突然，星星娃娃看见了树林里正举行联欢会，便马上回到联欢会的中央。星星娃娃看见穿着红裙子拿着话筒的长颈鹿姐姐正在报幕呢！
星星娃娃因为太小了，大家都没有看见它在这里。星星娃娃小声说：“我要是也能参加这里的表演就好了。”星星娃娃的话被喜鹊小姐听见了。喜鹊小姐惊讶地张大嘴巴说：“小星星你太漂亮了，你能答应做我的头饰吗？因为我要去参加这里的唱歌比赛。”小星星同意了。
喜鹊小姐带上小星星上了舞台。这时，舞台下面响起一阵热烈的掌声。喜鹊小姐拉开歌喉唱起了欢快的歌儿。
表演正在进行中，这时，小兔子看见喜鹊小姐的头上有一颗闪闪发亮的'小星星，便大声说：“快看哪，喜鹊小姐头上有一颗小星星。”这时，大家才注意到喜鹊小姐头上的小星星。一瞬间，舞台下就议论起来。小兔说：“真奇怪！喜鹊小姐的头上怎么会有小星星呢？太漂亮了！”梅花鹿说：“是啊，我都有点羡慕她了。”
小星星听了心里美滋滋的，心想：原来大家都那么喜欢我呀，我一定要发出更美丽更亮的光来。
唱歌比赛结束了，星星娃娃也提着灯笼飞回家去了。星星娃娃一边飞一边说：“这真是一个愉快的夜晚。”
