summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

先说旅行的好处:第一，旅行可以“考验团队精神”。像是有一次，我们全家和表姐一家一起去露营。大家分工合作，才“好不容易”把帐篷搭好，所以说，没有了团队精神，可以说是，“什么都做不好”!
第二，可以增广见闻。增广见闻、常识，可是很重要的事喔!不然，很难和家人、朋友有“相同的话题”!记得有几好多次，朋友们在聊天时，我想“参一脚”， 但也接不上话题，真是有些……由此可之，多增广见闻、多吸收知识，是多么使人重视的一件事，也不容易被当成“井底之蛙”!
第三，可以舒缓压力、放松身心。过去我自己就有很多次因为旅行而舒缓压力的，也许是因为旅行途中，经常专注于烦恼以外的.事物，就是“转移注意力”了， 还有，在聊天的过程中，可以与家人、朋友倾吐烦恼，压力也就一起烟消云散了。所以说，旅行真的是舒解压力的好方法。
第四，旅行可以促进家人、朋友间的感情。这也是我个人亲身经历的。像是平常不常接触的朋友，也在有一次旅游活动中变很十分要好呢!所以啰!旅行也是使人感情更好，也就是“凝聚感情”的“最佳途径”之一!
其实，旅行真的是有意义的一件事喔，不但可以行万里路增广见闻，还对彼此感情的促进很有帮助，是很好的休闲活动!亲爱的朋友们，有空我们一同到郊外走走吧！

今天，我开着全世界独一无二的“奔屎”车去兜风，我在大街上潇潇洒洒的走着，引得多少“少女”驻足痴望。
突然，天变黑了。咦？怎么有一股臭味？我抬头向上看，原来是一只七天七夜都没洗的臭脚！
难……难道是他？啊！少女们一声尖叫，全部慌乱而逃。他，一个坏小孩，自从看上了我们这个村子后，就开始放肆地乱踩一通，想让我们全部死光光，但是他的奸计没能得逞。遇上我算你倒霉，来几脚咬几脚。
“现在情况非常危险，请求支援，请求支援……”我对着Call机大叫着。看来要等到总部支援我们就死翘翘了，只得使出我的“降脚十八咬”了。
啊？我左看看右看看根本没一个人啊，不会吧？每次在最关键的`时刻都不见了。这个绝招要团体才能使出的啊！
没办法了，只得使出“凌波微步”，到他身上咬他个大包包了。我气运丹田，使出浑身力气，终于爬到他身上了，我左咬咬右咬咬上咬咬下咬咬……
不过一会儿，他全身几乎都被我咬过了。他停了下来，大口吸气，“啊！好痒啊！”他抓呀抓，一边抓一边跑回家，那样子可真够滑稽的。
“哈哈哈哈！赢了！我们赢了！”我几乎大叫起来。“耶！”全场欢呼起来，躺在地上装死的，躲在WC不敢出来的，统统都跑出来了！
他们还为我举行了一个庆功会，就这样我成了他们的大英雄!

then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.
