然后，我们来到了中山市最出名、最古老的步行街——孙文西路步行街。孙文西路有许多高楼大厦，其中三分之二都有欧洲的建筑特色。如果你累了，可以坐在旁边的长椅上；如果你饿了，可以到旁边的小吃店吃中山特有的小吃；如果你想购物，就可以到中山百货去；如果你想看书，还可以去新华书店孙文分店……就因为这样，步行街成了一个娱乐休闲的地方。
逛完了步行街，向东走大概三百米，就到了中山博物馆。虽然我们不能进去，但我们依然感受到中山若干年前的辉煌与历史。博物馆外，墙上张贴着许多照片，这些照片有的是一些见义勇为的中山人，警察捉小偷的情景，还有孙中山的照片，以前中山人赶墟时的场面，还有的是中山美丽的风景……一切显得如此和谐，让人有些许亲切感。
中山博物馆的对面是中山出了名的西山寺，西山寺虽小，但来上香的人有很多，虽然有很多人，但小小的西山寺还是那么宁静。有的人坐在长椅上看书，有的睡觉；有的拍照留念，有的独自散步。不时传来一些笑声，接着又是一片平静，来上香的人更是默默无言。
中山许多景物都在孙文路，孙中山纪念堂就在那儿。孙中山纪念堂不用门票就可以进去了，中山的公园也是这样。刚进去就看见草坪覆盖着纪念堂，通过一条小道，来到了一排台阶前，我们上了台阶，来到一座高十米的亭子前，里面放着孙中山许多珍贵的'东西，包括他的大头像，可惜进去参观要钱，所以我们只能看，不能摸。
通过孙文路，再走过莲塘路，就来到了大信新都汇。大信新都汇是中山最大了商场，它包括绿榕居酒楼、金辉煌酒楼、肯德基、必胜客、麦当劳、屈臣氏、大润发、粤港家私广场等等，数也数不清。中心在大润发，大润发分五层，还有负一层。第五层是小孩子的天地——金龙欢乐世界，还有电影院。电影院里每天都挤满了人，平时忙碌的上班族也抽空来这里看电影。而金龙欢乐世界更不用说了，每天都有小孩子来这儿玩，游戏设备样样俱全。但是，金龙欢乐世界也有网吧，不是国家法定日子，里面也混有未满十八岁的儿童、少年。但我们四个是良好少年，是不会进去的。
最后一站是宏基新华书店。我们在那里看了一个钟的书，就依依不舍的离开了，搭着十八号中巴回到了员峰小学。
这次的旅程很顺利，使我知道了中山原来是那么美的。如果我长大了有机会，一定当一次导游，让中山人民真正地认识一下自己的家乡究竟有多美！
