暑假里，天气十分炎热，火炉一般的太阳鼓动着滚滚热浪一阵接着一阵向我涌来，豆大的汗珠从我体内冒出来，顺着我的脸颊滚落下去。好热的天啊，大烤箱一般!玩电脑吧，一身汗;看书吧，又静不下心。只有手中的冰淇淋才能带给我些许凉意。唉，无聊、烦躁透顶。“走，兜风去?”耳边传来老爸的喊声。去哪儿呢?我迷迷糊糊地跟老爸上了车。

外婆家的厨房里，有个比我的床还大的灶台。灶台上嵌着两只黑糊糊的大铁锅，活像一副用车轮做的大眼睛。锅下面的炉膛可不小，张着一张大嘴巴，专门吞食柴火。要是冬天就好了，我既能帮忙做饭，又可取暖。可惜现在不是时候。
