回到家，我做完了其它作业，赶紧从书包里抽出语文书，这里读读，哪里背背。一会儿默写日积月累，一会儿叫老妈帮助我听写。晚上9点多了，生物钟已经在催我睡觉了，可是我觉得还没把握，还想再复习复习，算了，困了，先睡觉吧。
第二天一早，不知道是什么时候醒来了。躺在床上睡意朦胧地想起了今天上午要进行竞赛。我急匆匆地爬起来,穿好衣服。起了床上,把小闹钟拿过来一看，天啦！才五点钟，这么早就醒了?算了，醒了就醒了吧。干脆再复习一下。起床后，我大约看了一个多小时样子，天这时已经变亮了。我狼吞虎咽地吃了早饭，然后毫不停留地背起书包上学去了。
时间过得飞快，上午的第四节竞赛课很快就到了。当老师把试卷发下来，教室里顿时变得鸦雀无声，空气都仿佛凝固了。同学们紧张地看着卷面的试题，奋笔疾书地写着。啊，试卷真难啊，试题不但量多，难度也很大,作文分数占比很大。而时间只有40分钟！我和同学们一样顾不得多想，迅速答着题。教室里除了“沙沙”的答题声，其它什么声音也没有。
刚开始时，我还是一副自信满满的样子，可试卷拿到手时，看了试题，顿时有点英雄气短了。竞赛题虽然只有两个部分，可是这次没有了我容易对付的基础题，只有让人紧绷神经的阅读和作文题。那阅读题，每一小题都有不小的难度，都有好像一副存心要为难我似的。此时的我，就像一个没复习的人面对一张高考试卷，真是“书到用时方恨少”啊！我绞尽脑汁，苦苦思索每一题的答案，终于把阅读题目做完了。
我松了一口气，接下来要面对最后的堡垒--作文题。面对这次作文的题材，顿时又犯难了。心里不住的埋怨，这题目真是有点坑人了。我急的又挠头，又咬笔杆，苦思冥想终于完成了整篇的.四分之三。可就在这时，突然传来一声口哨声，老师大喊道：“考试时间到了，收卷！”我脑子顿时一片空白，这下完了，匆忙交了试卷离开了。放学后，想了想这次竞赛，担心这次真的要挂掉了。唉，自己大意了，只怪自己平时巩固的不够。
第二个礼拜，成绩公布时，我的心紧张地砰砰直跳。当老师叫到我的名字和我获得三等奖时，我兴奋地差点不敢相信。我的阅读题成绩不错,只扣2分，作文那是相当惨，由于没写完，扣了6分之多。
紧张地竞赛结束了，我得出教训，下次遇到不会做的题目，不要一直纠缠，而应先跳过做后面容易的，就不会来不及做了。另外，作文我还应该平时多积累一些好句子，多做些小练笔。

为了发挥集体的力量，培养合作精神，激发学生自主管理，我决定尝试班委竞赛制。班会上，经过的热烈讨论，我们商讨出以下班委竞赛制度。选举成立两组竞赛班委，每组包括组长一人，组员七人。一组负责单周的管理，另一组则负责双周的管理。管理的内容包括：迟到、卫生、大课间跑操、眼保健操、晚自修纪律等。每月进行一次评比，根据学校的.量化评分，扣分最少的为胜出组，胜出组将得到奖励，奖品来自班主任的资助；失败组则要受到“惩罚”——为全班同学表演一个节目。
在接下来的班干部培训会上，我再三强调：一定要通过组员的团结形成最强的合力。为了进一步激发他们自主管理的热情和积极性，我宣布：具体的管理办法和措施由小组开会自主决定，讨论过程我坚决不参加。看到班主任如此放手，两组的孩子们马上分别聚在一起投入到热烈的讨论中。
在接下来的日子里，为了自己的小组能获胜，两个小组的成员真可谓是八仙过海各显神通，班级管理情况马上好转。自从开展班委竞赛后，每组班委的组员，每天都异常关注班里的卫生、迟到、晚自修纪律等扣分情况，一旦出现扣分，该小组马上主动调查了解情况并以最快的速度进行整改。
为了使本组负责的周不被扣分，组员们想方设法，创意百出。例如，每组都在每天的公区、宿舍、课室值日中安排一名组员参与进去，确保卫生值日的质量及监督的到位。又例如，为了做好那些迟到专业户的思想工作，每组的组员也是奇招百出，采取了早上专人叫醒、迟到不帮助买早餐等措施。由于班干部自主管理的积极性得到充分激发，班级管理的效果马上立竿见影，例如，班上的卫生得到了极大的改善、迟到现象大为减少、晚自修纪律越来越让值班老师满意。
同时，在学校的先进班评比中，我们班的各项扣分也开始变得越来越少。很快，一个月过去了，当我在班上公布第一组以微弱的分数夺得第一个月竞赛的胜利时，该组全体成员马上爆发出雷鸣般的欢呼声，接着，全班同学为他们鼓掌以示鼓励。而落败的第二组也心甘情愿地为全班表演了一个节目。节目结束后，在同学们热烈的掌声中，第二组全体成员立即向获胜组发出了强有力的挑战：下次一定要“复仇”。结果呢？一个月后，他们果真“复仇”成功了。
